The law issue is one thing. The heavy drinking is another thing. They are what they are. But the one that gets me is uncaring willingness to sacrifice his position as the starting QB and leader on the team. Say what you want, the haircut ain't enough. This boy is still a boy. We need men being leaders of the football team. As I have said before, I'm not as sold on Bray as most of you are. He hasn't proven he is capable of winning at a high level or leading the team at all.

Maybe this will be his wake-up call as he runs the steps of Neyland.

No charges = Handled internally .

I don't think there is any question he did it; mof, he called the girl and admitted it. So business as usual, huh? Stay after school for an hour. No. What yall ain't getting is Bray's stature in the program. You can't allow your MVP to skate on a vandalism event, the Media would not stop with the scrutiny.

There is so much stupidity on this issue. This is a non issue!!!
At worst he runs sprints for this and pays for the damage out of his pocket. That's all he or anyone else guilty of this would deserve.

The Tennessee Vol's MVP is held to a higher standard. And, If that were you., I suspect you would be reporting to KPD quickly.

You're right, I shouldnt have been a jerk to a fellow Vol like that. But saying that this incident is a reflection of Dooley's inability to control the team and that he should cut ties with Bray and promote Worley as the starter is an overreaction and dumb (IMO of course). How could he have any control over this situation other than punishing Bray once he found out what happened? Should he go tuck in each player every night and tell them it's time for lights-out?

When the first morning practice of fall camp begins, this will be something long forgotten. Sure he messed up, but the great thing about this situation in regards to media coverage is that by the end of this weekend some idiot at another school will be charged or arrested for something else and this will be old news.

If John Ward Forever had his way, college football's opening weekend would be nothing but a bunch of Matt Simms' throwing to a bunch of Matt Milton's. Every school has off-season issues and if you overreact to each one of them then there would be some terrible displays of football going on because all the great players would be in hoodies on the sidelines.
