Judging on the history of other players under Dooley's tenure, I think Bray would have had to do a lot more to get the boot, or even suspended. And by "a lot more," I mean a lot more.

If in Dooley's mind he was part of busting the windshield, that's a crime. Different than stealing computers, but still a crime. I pray that is not the case. But nobody has the answer to that one yet.

What does that have to do with Bray being out? It looks like Dooley has the same amount of control over this team that was evident up in Lexington last year. These players know that they can mess over Dooley and there is nothing he can do about it.

Bray has been on campus for 2 years now and his maturing process has been amazing. Time to cut bait and start Worley. Dooley has to make his mark somewhere.

the real question is how are you a LSU and Tenn fan? i think that problem should be solved before you try to evaluate any that dooley is facing

Just better be glad it wasnt Simms throwing the golf balls. He would have hit every car in the parking lot except for the one he was throwing at

At minimum 75% of college students have done something stupid like that, and the only reason it is being made a big deal of is that he is a football player. He paid to have the car fixed and no charges are being pressed, there is no way he misses a minute of playing time for this.

This has got to be one of the dumbest posts ever. Thank god your not our coach and I hope to god your not in charge of anyone or anything.

Not a crime. An accident at best.

No drugs. No armed robbery. Nobody got hurt. He's making grades.

The lady overreacted getting the police involved. If Bray and UT football suffer, she better plan to see a lot more damage to her car until she leaves town.

Other thread is a whole lot more fun. Going back to that one.

Oh, and Dooley shouldn't do anything.....maybe laps, but that is about it.

Whole thing is blown so far out of perportion, it's rediculous. Might as well have fun with it on the other thread.

The first victim got an apology and promise to pay for the bottles and balls incident.

The second victim filed a complaint. Word is it will die on the legal front because there were no witnesses and Bray and his roomie can choose not to answer cop questions about it.

Dooley can be cop, judge and jury when it comes to his players.

I have been a UT fan for 42 years. I happen to like LSU because they hate Alabama just as much as we do. There is no problem. What is yours?

Ill be upset if anything happens to him other than some extra conditioning. No one was hurt, and Bray is paying for the car.

Official media reports: Two police reports. Two vehicles. Vandalism. No witnesses. Bray suspected. Evidence - slim. No willingness to press charges. Which begs the question why they suspect Bray is involved? Could it be the parties they have at his place? Some little birdie told them? Vol fans owned the cars?

The law issue is one thing. The heavy drinking is another thing. They are what they are. But the one that gets me is uncaring willingness to sacrifice his position as the starting QB and leader on the team. Say what you want, the haircut ain't enough. This boy is still a boy. We need men being leaders of the football team. As I have said before, I'm not as sold on Bray as most of you are. He hasn't proven he is capable of winning at a high level or leading the team at all.

Maybe this will be his wake-up call as he runs the steps of Neyland.

Wowwy! Overreact much? Dumbest post I've read today, and that's saying something with some of today's posts in the recruiting forum

This will be dealt with internally, probably by running bleachers or something similar. Nothing to see.

Two things to this whole issue for me:
1) Did he do something stupid that there were no charges filed for? I think yes and for that he will probably lose about 10 pounds over the next couple of weeks from all the running. I don't think he should be suspended and don't think CDD will.
2) Has TB grown up since last year like he wants us to believe? I think no. I don't think he is a leader nor does he yet have what it takes to be a leader. That is the most disturbing part to me. After KY last year he should have been walking on egg shells. There is too much smoke surrounding him (no pun intended) for there not to be a fire there somewhere and that is the mark of immaturity and NOT being a leader.

Also, are the rumors that this is not the first incident with him (i.e. trying to pick fights on the strip) substantiated in any way?

I don't know, here is the guy you just called the "Face of the team", screwing up. This isn't like mooning a female trainer with no witnesses.

I think UT can beat ncst with Justin at QB. Really do.

One game. Gotta suspend. IMO.

Unfortunately for some of us in the "wait and see" CDD camp (read me) and wanting him to do well this year, this appears to hold more water than we would like for it too.

I'm so glad a serious thread was made so that a serious discussion full of serious posters can discuss what a serious situation Tyler has gotten himself involved.
