How we feeling?

Easy. They think if it’s past 15 yards, he can’t throw the football. I have read that over and over and a friend at work said the same thing today. He himself is worried about the game just like me. Says he will be hammered drunk by 5pm lol
It is a weird game. UGA and TN fans seems to all be uneasy about it. Hell, I'm uneasy that they're uneasy. Just a low level anxiety type of week. This game needs to hurry the hell up so I can get some release. UGA is starting to become the new Florida for me and I don't like it

We’ll struggle with the one on ones. Schematically we’re very good but execution against good talent is still a mystery. If it’s third or 4th and long, Georgia will get that all day long and that will be the difference.

Not the full games, but highlights. Again, UGA has pulled this same trick on the SEC the last several years: looks meh against their cupcakes, only to turn it on for league play. Like clockwork every year.
True but we haven’t played them this early in the season for years. By the time we play them, they’ve had plenty of time to work out any kinks.

I’m not predicting a thing, but I think last year and the year before they struggled the first month before turning it up.

Hey there, Fade. Good to see that you still lurk. The board has certainly changed a lot since our early days in the mid 2000s. Don't mind some of the rude comments.... they are probably coming from posters that were still in diapers back then.

I'm not as optimistic as some about this one, but I'm ready to get the Georgia monkey off our back. Thanks for always being cordial and honest.
Kiddie. Great to hear from you! You know I can handle it :) I need to come and shake your hand at one of these games. Be well and God Bless brother!

Felt better about this game when I saw placement in the schedule.
Felt worse when nico left.
Felt better when JA started slinging it around.
Felt worse after the D injuries.
I think Tenn needs to score a bunch of points to win. I think the defense is leaky and Georgia will do Georgia things.
If Tenn wins it will be because deep balls hit and special teams (Boo getting big returns and Gilbert and Ross continuing to be elite).

Georgia is who they are. They will not give this game away. They have too much pride and talent. Their program is built on physicality and toughness. Manhood. Tennessee has to go out and prove that we're that guy, collectively. It's right there for the taking. This is not the time for us to be out there bungling around like the Keystone cops. GoVols. 🍊

Hope all has been well. Your boy's are looking good so far and I'm more nervous than a politician in a lie detector test. Our run game looks good but downfield throws/reads look shaky. Your new qb is an upgrade and the d looks improved. How are you all feeling? Go Dawgs!
This will be a test of the direction each program is heading for 2025. Both sides have "concerns," specifically the QB situation, which makes for an exciting game. I am glad this will be played at Neyland; the fans do give an edge.

On paper, UGA has the studs, but I believe UT has the chemistry. Injuries are a part of football. Let's let the players decide on the field.

GBO

UT: 28
UGA: 21

Last drive decides the game.

We also can’t afford turnovers. In both our games now we’ve had fumbled snaps/ RPO miscues. We can’t do that against Georgia

This is what happens when you haven't beaten a rival in a while. Their fans show up here "win or lose" to feign cordial discussion. Really they are fishing for praise and to fuel their sense of superiority. They are confident that they'll be back on here post-game to receive all the congratulations and well wishes from defeated Vol fans. Come on Vols, end this!

On the other hand, I have no desire to ever visit a Vandy or Kentucky fan chat to engage in discussion. They don't want me there anyway. I don't get it, but to each their own.

I choose to think some rival fans have to come to VN to have a shot at reasonable, intelligent discussion that can’t be had elsewhere 😂

Anything can happen this weekend. Either team has the tools to win the game, or the vulnerabilities to lose the game. As it should be in a marquee SEC game. I don’t want a late teens ACC sort of conference where it’s Clemson and then everyone else. I want a murderer’s row, and then to come out on top of it.

I'm kinda with the poster above, Georgia wins, until they dont. I would feel much better if we didn't have so many Defensive starters out. This is the game where depth is more valuable than gold. With that however this is Stockton's first true road start I believe, and lets face it, Neyland is not your typical road environment. Maybe we can rattle him from the start and if our DL can hold up and contain him from running , WE CAN DO IT !!

Lets go fans, be LOUD, Be REAL LOUD, DON'T LET UP

regardless, i bleed orange through and through. GO VOLS !!!

Yep. Good poster. Welcome back!

As many have stated, my mindset is GA wins until they don’t. Same mentality with bama until we did and same for Florida at the swamp. We have some issues that yall will exploit that these other 2 teams couldn’t.

I see it as a 28-17 ga win.
This Georgia team isn't scoring 28 on us.

LMAO. You see the reason I visited here was because my family are UT fans and my disabled little brother was having a hard time getting tickets. Kiddiedoc, Volfreak, and LIO and more helped me get tickets for him. Fulmer wrote him letters and sent pictures of the team. I will forever be grateful! That was in 2004, Tennessee beat us that year.

Since the site doesn't go back that far.

Fade, you seem pretty reasonable. I feel like this is easily the best shot we've had against UGA in years. We have a much better defense than '22 and an offense that seems to rolling similar to that year. I expect this will be a rock fight. I have a good feeling about the game but I'll believe we beat UGA when I see it. Kirby seems to plan for Heupel well and simply has more overall talent on his roster. My heart says vols win but my head just doesn't buy into it yet.
