I was at Texas vs OU all day yesterday so i missed our game.. saw the highlights but a lot of yall seem to be upset. How’d it go ?

It beats Tennessee high school football lately. It was not a blowout and a good game if you like drama and being tensed.

Criticism: defense continues to get gashed and give up critical and often catastrophic 3rd downs

Offensive play calling was sus at key moments, way way too conservative and sitting on a lead.

Refs were terrible, but not as bad as that abomination that went down on the Plains Saturday night.

But the main thing is the number on the big board was bigger under the "T" than under .

Firstly, a dub is a dub all day long.

The O was inconsistent but came through when it mattered. Not scoring tuddies after turnovers led to good field position is a bit concerning. Joey Football is a gamer and tough as nails. Bishop went smooth the eff off. Hopefully his ankle is better by Saturday night. He got it rolled under a hip drop tackle. Hopefully they ban that tackle in the offseason.

The D is all over the place. Averaging 4.5 sacks a game is incredible, especially since its spread over several players. Lots of TFLs too.

The third down defense is atrocious. The secondary plays too much soft zone and its very frustrating to watch. They have to play tighter coverage because they are going to get beat giving that much cushion on 3rd and long.

Ive never understood letting a WR get up to speed and then expecting a CB or safety to be able to keep up with him in the open field. You’re basically conceding 10-15 yards minimum. It maddening.
