How UT wins last night...

I would much rather see Chandler drive to the basket in this situation than anyone (even Vescovi) take a three. KC has a pretty decent floater that would have had a better
chance of going in than JJJ taking a 3.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.
A wide dead open 3 from a college player is a great shot. I can understand why you may question the people in to take the shot, but ride with the hot hands and let them finish it. I've been so confused on the hatred of the final play. We shot a WIDE OPEN SHOT. It wasn't Uros taking it or something. It was the same player we've seen make high-pressure 3's before... this year.

Forget the last play, should have never come to that. Three simple things, basic things, that would have left us ahead with 6 seconds, not behind.

- Don't give the guy throwing a 60' prayer up to end the half an opportunity to create contact and get a foul called. +2
- Hit at least 60% of our free throws. +5 (I think)
- Make your largely uncontested shots from 4' in. +4 ( James & Chandler)

Do these basic things and the game never gets out of hand and the good guys win. That's what I want from this team. Do the basic offensive things well, nothing more, and suddenly we are a 2 loss team and in the top 8.
Spot on

JJJ would have been my last choice for someone to take that shot but there wasn't enough time to scrutinize anything. You just get an open shot and hope it goes down. In that time frame you just drive to the goal and take it to the rack or find an open man.
