How to save the offense..

Tennessee has recruited top 20 or better classes since Neyland. Even bumbling idiots like Dooley signed talent here. Tennessee is also rapidly expanding it's high school talent base but we get out recruited on the home front for a ton of them because we have awful coaches who don't produce on the field. Our recruiting the past 5 years has been comparable to Florida's. Our results have not.

Recruiting rankings are a funny lititle thing. Get a couple of five star receivers, maybe a five star d back, and you're top seven. Doesn't fix the O Line or D Line, does it? Jones' classes were smoke and mirrors.

Pruitt is actually trying to do it the right way, and in my opinion, the only way it will work. Unfortunately, his way--the right way-- will take five to seven years. We are Vols, damn it. He'll never get that long. Next Victim? Working for Stoops at Ky.
