What do we need to organize and do to get rid of the Haslems influence over our program? We successfully stopped the hire today, what is needed to end the Haslems control of our program once and for all?

I'm open to suggestions.

The Haslams are the problem.

This athletics department is beyond stupid with how it does everything, and it all falls at their feet.

Look, I'm angry as heck about this Schiano fiasco. However, this is squarely on John Currie. He is the Athletic Director. Period.

The Haslam family are known for their character and are prominent financial supporters of our university. Do they have a lot of influence? Yep. Do they deserve the blame for this mess? Nope.

Focus squarely on John Currie. He deserves it all.

Posted in another thread but—-Born and raised in Johnson City and consider my blood orange.
Had to leave when I was 16 for parents job and moved to Cleveland. Fortunately I was able to get back down below the line and live in Charleston,SC. I just confirmed reservations to the next Cleveland Browns home game with friends in the Dawg Pound.
Sign suggestions for our Pilot buddies?

The Haslams hired Currie.
The Haslams picked Schiano.
Focus is on all of them.

Don't ever stop at a Pilot station.

The level of incompetence we've seen transcends ADs. Clearly.

This is Haslam, period.

Currie was a puppet.

The anger needs to be turned towards Jimmy, it starts on Vol boards, but it had to escape the internet and find its way to all Vol fans.

It's up to us to spread the narrative that the Haslam's have, almost did and will continue to **** us.

Boycott Pilot and make it known.

Either you are a member of the Haslam family or just one of their political supporters, or maybe you just happen to be the third largest stock holder of Pilot stock. Whatever the case may be, I find your conclusions to be ... myopic.

Wrong. The Haslams have been the puppet masters ever since. If you are the AD at UG and go against them, then you will be unemployed quickly.

You are vastly underestimating the Haslams influence at Tennessee. Vastly.

First, Start a Go Fund Me page for the defense of the Pilot execs thrown under the bus for the rebate scam. Federal trial is getting ready to start. No way Jimmy "didn't know it was going on." Right. And I've got swamp land in Arizona I'll sell you. Hopefully these execs sing like a canary in court and lay it all on the table. Who knew what and when? Who gave the order?

Next, STOP going to Pilot. No gas, no coffee, no ice, no snacks. Just STOP going.

Lastly, withhold donations, season ticket purchases, etc. When the AD and BOT realize this is directed at a specific power broker, they will move to shift the balance of power.

These few things are at least a start.
