You guys say that EVERY year...Yet, no undefeated seasons :birgits_giggle: And yet ole miss proves to the entire nation that UF can be defeated...YET you will be amazing this year...If You lose ONE game will you STILL be amazing? Or will you back into another national title shot with one loss?...Hmmm...And I hear you guys believe this team will be better than that 95 Nebraska team that completely and totally destroyed one of the greatest so called teams in UF history, Let me help you with that one, do not flatter yourselves..Your still not in that teams league yet :wink2:

There is a difference between arrogance and confidence...and trust me, there are arrogant Gator fans that come on here. Never said you were one.

And no way UT wins 10 games this year. That is a pipe dream.

We say that every year? I haven't thought that we'll for sure be in the national title game in a long long time. There were the Zook years. Then Urbans first year was ok at 9-3. The national title in 2006 came out of nowhere. In 2007 we knew our defense returned only 2 starters. In 2008 we thought how the hell could this defense lead us to anything. So like I said, it's been a long long time since we've had a team this capable and known it pre-season.

I am as much of a Vol as anyone on here but I wouldn't say they backed into a national championship last season. And if they were they certainly wouldn't be the only team to do it. Every team that has won the BCS has had to have help. I know if I was a Gator I would be excited about this season. I dislike them as much as the next guy does but they aren't going away anytime soon. On that note welcome to the board Gators and go Vols

Tennessee's 98 season went undefeated. You can bring up the Stoerner fumble if you wish, but that game didn't end in a loss. The Vols didn't need any help from other schools losing a game or two.

No they didn't need any help but look at every team that has won it since then. At least one of the teams that made the game had to have someone lose to get in. You guys take what you want to from that post I wasn't taking anything from that season at all.

now, i haven't talked to any bammers, where i live there are few. But the Gators are abundant here in high school and all they can talk about is Tebow. Tebow, Tebow, Tebow. "He's the greatest QB ever!" and all that junk...Believe me, they'll eat their words soon. Tebow, no matter how physical of an athlete he is, he won't survive the NFL. Because everyone there is physical too!

Yeah my friends talk him big but they don't think he is going to be the man in the pros they know there is a reason he was projected in the draft at other positions but that's also why they say the Gators are gonna come from under center some this year too. I work in the new Hilton in town here and have worked in another hotel up here and just from that and living here I notice there are a ton of Alabama fans that live here and travel here. And I can't stand them cause they think they are goes gift to football. I would rather deal with Gator fans than anyone else believe it or not

let me tell you why i like hmanvolfan.
if you are a fan of hockey then you know what an enforcer is,and he is VN's enforcer and he might have lost some teeth over the years but he does a damn good job...
