How To Beat Florida

Is this prediction similar to the one you made last year about how the Vol basketball team would be embarrassed by the Gators? I think at one point we were up by 25 and won going away.

Is it like that prediction?

Or how 'bout when you said we probably wouldn't make the NCAA tournament and if we did it would be an 8 or 9 seed.

Kinda like that one?

Yes? No?

I know this is a football thread but the point remains. This clown does this all the time. He comes in here and under the guise of cordiality, slams the Vols on every occasion.

And sadly there are many Vol enablers for this antagonistic, arrogant ass.

He nothing more than a troll. He’s just nice about it. :flush:

Well, in the sense that Florida's entire team could be killed by Hanta Viurs or Ebola, I suppose nothing is in cement. But assuming the teams end up as they appear they will next September, then Florida simply crushes UT.

The guy knows football somewhat. But is quite biased about his team. Which makes you wonder why he is here. They won by 39 and he is already in here saying they will embarrass us next year. Man your right a nice troll or maybe azzclown.

Thanks.

Next year, though, Florida by 30.

We all know what the definition of assume is brother. Pre Auburn game you were giving us a condescending appraisal of what was wrong with the Vols and how this years SEC champion gators would challenge for the national title again to which I responded that y'all haven't won it yet so just take a breath. Your next response was, well maybe not this year but next year it's for sure to which I said maybe Tebow would go on a mission or Harvin would go to the NFL. You said Tebow wasn't going anywhere and y'all had plenty of other players to pick up Harvin's slack and the SEC was the gators to lose to which I said they haven't won next years SEC title either so take another breath. Did you get a chance to take a breath yet?

That, sir, is perhaps the most intellectually bankrupt comment I have ever read o here. Tebow has ten times the NFL career potential of Ainge.

Its not even close.

I'm sure Weurffel had 10 times more NFL potential than Manning...and Earnest Graham had 10 times more potential than Jamal Lewis.

What's so ridiculous is how you bash others for not being objective...Yet, you're as much a homer as anyone. It's pathetic.

And, for what it's worth...I'd say Ainge fits the prototypical NFL QB mold...His progression has been outstanding over the past 2 seasons...he's an attractive NFL prospect...the knock on him will be his injuries and performance in big games. As for Tebow...he's a phenomenal athlete with great size, strength, and speed. He's a fierce competitor and impressively durable. Contrary to popular belief, the guy can definitely throw a football...however, he's still not won a game with his arm. He relies heavily on his legs (in large part because of Meyer's system)...that won't cut it in the NFL. He's got a long way to go to prove that he can be a pocket quarterback in the league.

Thats what i see in teebow. Great athlete know doubt, pocket passer in the nfl not likely.

UF choked against Auburn and will end up in a minor bowl after two more losses against UK and USC. UT wins the east and upsets LSU for the title, with payback for the 2001 choke against lsu.

Anyone that thinks Tebow is a better pro prospect right now than Ainge is guilty of PUI.....posting under the influence. Ainge is your prototypical NFL qb, his only question is durability. He def has the arm strength and the head for the game. While Tebow reminds me somewhat of Steve Young....Steve was a pass first guy and I dont think Tebow's there yet. Plus Steve was very cerebral, while the jury's still out on Tim's ability to read a D and make the right call.

That's not a bad analogy. What I'm focusing on is potential. I'm not saying that Tebow is a better NFL QB at this moment in time. I do, however, think he will turn out to be a better pro prospect than Ainge in the end.

Ah the alcohol has wore off. This statement maybe true. Teebow is a work in progress as far as nfl potential.

From here on in it all comes down to how he develops between the ears. As of right now, Tebow looks like a slightly larger version of Heath Shuler.

Is this Kenny Chesney? Traitor. We don't want you anyways. :)

LG you are not a realist are you? Ainge will do a much better job in the NFL than Tebow. Just because of the beating you gave us in Gainseville don't think your team is invincible. Just remember 2 losses right now and 2 more coming in the next few weeks before a subpar bowl appearance and loss there as well. Think Gator nation will be laughing next year- I don't think so after the UT win by 14 in Knoxville!
