So Griff- I am curious to know your thoughts on the orange jersy denial. Think bama had a good enough excuse or do we have a legit beef? Seems espn doesn't think it's newsworthy. Your perspective would be welcome.

Did you take out the points scored against other teams that were non-offensive?

I think UT's defense is getting better, though...

Really it's just a matter of how you spin the stats. I saw in Hooker's article that we actually average giving up fewer yards this year than last. I agree that the defense is getting better, and I firmly believe that they are being better coached this year compared to last year. This bye week should really help us get healthy and give Monte a chance to get a long look at Alabama and how we can stop them.

Here`s the recipe for a Vols victory:
Alabama needs to commit at least four turnovers and about 100 yards in penalties, while Tennessee commits no turnovers and plays virtually penalty free football. That scenario is Tennessee`s only chance.

If everything is bigger in Texas, would that make you even a bigger dumbass than your Alabama brethren?

Then we had some people who phoned into radio, and said if it meant Bama could wear Crimson in Neyland Stadium they'd rather the Vols go without Orange

I think we will see the hurry up offense, Bama likes to rotate d-lineman especiallly Cody to keep him fresh for later in the game. I think we use the hurry up leaving him out on the field longer than Bama wants.

Maybe at the end of a half or quarter...Vols' got to be careful not to put the defense out their too long...it's not built for that as Kiffin pointed out Tuesday

Field Position, field position, field position
That is the key to the game. I hope they figured out what is wrong with Special Teams. You can't afford to give up easy points on ST or valuable field position. Alabama has only scored two offensive touchdowns in the last two games yet won them easily because of field position, field goals, and defensive points.

or Alabama could just lose the game.

In one game each of the past two seasons, Saban's teams have come out flat and managed to lose games when they were big favorites. Last season to Utah and in 2007 to Louisiana-Monroe

VN, Go ahead and and prepare for mass trolls on Saturday if we lose. Nothing rivals Alabama trolls after a Bama/UT game.
