If the dung hits the fan and Kiffin is fired right before signing day? Looks like once again, truth is stranger than fiction. TMZ and other gossip tabloids are on the case...and they don't mess around! $10k to anyone with solid leads/info. Tony Basilio has been talking about some ultra-embarrassing dirt about to put some pain in Kiffin's life...enough to make Mike Price, and Tiger Woods blush.

What comes around goes around. You slime a University, and sooner or later, it comes back to get you. What's more is, with Dooley's hiring, I would not doubt for a sec that Orgeron may well bail on Kiffin anyway and take the La. Tech HC job. That is his old stomping grounds...his home, and with previous HC'in experience and all, he's got to be a front-running candidate.

I think we are in much better shape than USC is right now, as a program. Their wheels are about to fall off.

Kiffin is in L.A. now. Nothing he could do, no matter how lurid or salacious, is going to faze the people out there. That's probably another motivation for him going back. Kiffin could pull a Mike Price and he'd get a private reprimand, at best.

The only thing that would get him fired before he even coaches a game is if he is found to have committed major recruiting violations at UT and will face a show-cause from the NCAA. And I sure as heck don't want that to happen.

Pipe dream. He pushed the envelope while at UT and we loved him for it. Now he's at USC where the same activity will not even raise an eyebrow.

A photo of him in a hottub full of hot coeds will only ensure his legend status at USC.

Nothing to see here...we're acting like a bitter ex. Let's move on.

SoCal is ALL about Gossip out here. Don't kid yourselves...anything that embarrasses the coach embarrasses the University. Just wait...and don't EVER underestimate TMZ. The whole Tiger Woods thing looked like a bunch of nothing...til they did their digging and broke the story. That's precisely what you're going to find here.

Remember...we're talking about a juvenile individual here. Noone wanted to talk while he was here, cause they feared it would hurt the university. Now that he crapped on us, all bets are off.

i dont know of anything short of jail time during the season that would keep LK from coaching USC this season.

He has a much better chance of catching Crabs.

It's amazing how UT football went full circle. We went from having a coach who all he ever did was clap, to a coach who has the clap.

Is that the same Basillo who threw darts at every HC coaching candidate except for the one we have now.
Sorry I dont think anything is going to happen to CLK regarding TMZ, fornication with Smokey.

We need to move on... If at some point, Kiffin's career/reputation is completely wrecked, we can smile then, but right now we have to pray that Dooley brings in more than 15 commits.

Didn't the NCAA say they were close to making a decision on penalties for past transgressions at So Cal recently?? re; Bush et al.
