Booth went for five catches for 83 yards and a touchdown in Pike's season opening 41-22 win over North Central. Up next is Cincinnati Moeller.

Creamer finished with 6 catches, including a TD catch, in ECA's 40-6 win over Champagnat Catholic out of Hialeah, Fla. Next up is Banneker High School out of College Park, Ga.

Gaulden caught five passes for 68 yards in a 28-6 win over Kenwood. He also had 19 tackles. Next up is Marshall County.

Jalen Hurd ran for 177 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-39 win over Station Camp. He also had an interception on defense. Next up is Henry County.

Kelly caught four passes for 104 yards and a touchdown in a 35-15 loss to Maryville. He also ran the ball 12 times for 54 yards. He had five total tackles on the night defensively. Next up is Baylor.

Medley had all his kickoffs go for touchbacks and was 3-3 on PATs but was 0-1 on field goals in Marshall County's 34-21 loss to Shelbyville Central.

Weatherd finished with two sacks on six tackles with a pass broken up in Trinity Valley's 24-17 loss to defending NJCAA national champions Iowa Western. The Cardinals are back at it next week against Coffeyville Community College.

Wharton had a monster game and caught nine passes for 202 yards and had three total touchdowns in a 28-6 win over Kenwood. He also had an interception on defense. Next up is Marshall County.

Did anybody note how many tackles Hurd had on defense?

Seemed like he was in on quite a few

You mean pummeled for this game?. Beech OL played better than expected but Henry county sometimes has some hosses. Not sure what they look like this year.

They will be pumped till the HURD touches the ball and goes 60, then the air will slowly leak out.:)

Lambert with 3 sacks and a forced fumble. That is not a bad day at the office either.

Played for Coach Counce at Dyersburg. I can hear him now talking to the defense, " Boys, that #18 has rockets stuck up his @$$ and if you don't keep contain and get your head on a swivel he is gonna blow by you like greased lightning..." Coach will end up spitting Copenhagen in someone's face after the first drive...

I had a coach like that who would stick his fingers in your earholes and pull your facemask to his nose and yell at you like you were on the other side of the field.

I spent time trying to sort out the taste.

Redman or Bloodhound plug.
