How old were you

My 8 year old just worked Christmas like a boss. She had gifts in her room she had wrapped for her sisters. On the boxes she had written "sorry I took your stuff, don't worry it's inside here". I loved it.

My oldest is 14. He was 12 when he figured it out.
We adopted him a few years ago out of foster care. No matter how many homes he was in Santa always found him. So it took him a few years.

Bravo for the adoption man.

Probably around 8 or so. I don't remember having an Ah-Ha moment or anything. No present discovery or waking up catching my parents setting up.

Partly I had two sisters that were 6-7 years older. They tried to keep it going for me but I trusted them less than my parents. LOL.

Plus my dad was a cop and had to work a lot of Christmas Days so Santa was coming to my house by 10pm and we were opening presents by 10:30 a few times so Dad could be there. It never added up with all the stories of Santa.

I was 5. My brother caught my parents wrapping gifts and putting them under the tree. He came in and spilled the beans

My 9 year old claims to still believe, but he thinks just like me, which means he's probably just claiming to believe so he can laugh to himself watching adults scramble to keep the illusion going.

I think he's already torturing me with that damn Elf on a Shelf. No way he can possibly buy that.

I never really had a belief in a person known as "Santa" but I'm over 40 and still believe in the spirit of "Santa". I've worked in different areas of public service and have seen many examples of the spirit.

I was 8 or 9 and found a list in my parents room a few months after Christmas. It had everything I'd gotten from "Santa" on a list with store names and comparison prices written down. Went along pretending though for several more years though to keep it "real" for my younger sister.

We never have done the elf thing. I guess my wife knows I'd be doing the pictures of him getting water boarded, and making out with Barbie like on Facebook.

I don't remember ever thinking he was real. Idk why though. Either it just wasn't a thing in my house or my older siblings just told me

Lol. I'll accept it. My parents were divorced and I caught my mom setting up the tree.
