How old were you (for those that celebrated Christmas) when you found out Santa wasn't real? I was 5, I had asked him for a tonka dump truck and found it in my parents closet. I remember it clearly, I just knew it was all fake then. Just thought it'd be interesting to hear some stories.

I never believed in Santa. Parents never said anything about him. I used to try and set kids straight when they brought Santa. I know I'm a real Grinch/Scrooge.

Between 5 and 8 years old. When I was 5 an older neighborhood kid told me he knew a secret about Santa but he couldn't tell me until I was 8. By the time I was 8 I'd long figured it out.

My oldest son, when he was maybe 10 remarked that considering all the work that got done after he went to bed on Christmas Eve (presents and more decorations) that Santa must be real because, and I quote, "I doubt Mom could get all that work done."

Pretty sure he's real, I saw his flight plan at work tonight.

I never had a "OMG Santa's not real moment". I just kind of slowly figured out that Santa and my mom had the same handwriting but never mentioned anything to anyone since I had a younger sister that believed.

I never believed. We had no fireplace. Four year old Voxx didn't believe the sliding glass door story.

If my wife doesn't hurry up finishing putting this farm set together I told her to leave in the box. The kids will know in the morning as she is still working on it

My 8 year old does. Santa just delivered, we're about to make a noise that'll wake them all in a minute.

I don't remember the exact age, but I asked for something G.I. Joe or Transformers related for Christmas and then about 3 weeks before Christmas I was looking for something in a closet and happend to find the thing I asked for. When I asked my mom about it, she said she was just keeping it "for a friend".

When Christmas Day came and I got it, was when it clicked that oh yeah, this stuff ain't real.

Somewhere between 5-7 years old. I remember it like yesterday. I found a room with presents in it before they were put under the tree and something just clicked in my head. I knew right away.

Probably around 7 or 8 for me. My 3 girls figured it out around 8 & 9 (twins 9, sister 8), but kept it quiet and worked the system to their benefit for a couple of years. I wanted to be pissed that they worked us for xtra presents, but I couldn't help but be proud of their scheme.
