How old were you for your 1st game?

10 years old. Went for two at the end of the game. Holloway to Seviers. We beat Clemson 29-28. 1974.

For me, it would have been in 1960. Our band had been given the old uniforms from the UT band, which was awesome at the time. But, a few of us watched the games from the hill overlooking the stadium. Opponents/scores...I don't have a clue.

My first game was in 2000 for my 20th birthday present. It was the "ICE MANS" first ever start and the Vols torched
LA-Monroe 70-3 and if I remember correctly the Vol's got upset the next week by LA-State in OT.

8 years old in 1988 versus Boston College. It was the first win of that 5-6 season and we didn't lose many over the next two seasons. When the Pride of the South Land opened the "T" it was the first time I'd ever seen tears in my father's eyes. That is what it means to be a Tennessee Volunteer.

my 1st game was when i was 25
My wife's first game was when she was 15
And my little girl was 2 for her 1st game

I was at that LSU game, we all laughed how the LSU fans were not strong enough to tear down the goal posts, hindsight, they laughed longer and harder, you reminded me why I like to watch them lose. I still got to go back to see the win.

Go Vols!

39 years old. My then gf took me to the promised land. 2000 Bama was my cherry game.

Auburn / Tenn late 80's. I was about 7-8. Taking my 3 year old son this week.

Great job, get him started early, get a one time use camera, so you can develop real pictures. Go the whole 10 yards, with souvenir cups and a program(they each have a poster). Save ticket stubs, the whole 10, a guy earlier said he has every stub from every game he has been to see.

Get a stroller for him to ride in, find a gate that will let you bring it in, they let us bring two in for the WC game(one for each twin).

Go Vols!

1997 Vandy- Manning's last home game- I was 22. Grew up poor so I had to always watch on tv. Made up for it since though :)

18 in 1992, was a directional Louisiana school or La Tech. Can't remember. I was in the Pride and I walked out of the tunnel and never caught my breath until after pregame was over. May have squeaked out 3 notes.

I was 9, we played Pacific, i think. I know it was a no name team early in the year with Andy Kelly as QB. Pacific fits the bill the best.

16 - 1980 - Georgia. Yeap, Herschel over Bates coming right at us to the end zone.......... Other than that one play, Bates had a good game and career...... IMO, I really don't think it would have mattered who was in Bates shoes on that play. Herschel wasn't going to be denied.......
