I'd say you can get away with it at a game or going to a sportsbar for that game until mid 20's .. after that it looks a bit sad (women can usually get away with this until mid 30's) . And if you have your own name on the back - and you didn't play for UT - then you've set yourself up for a whole additional level of ridicule.

The last won I wore was a Bo Jackson Raiders jersey in 88, I was 11.

You're to old if you're older than the player the jersey belongs to.

You jersey-wearing guys should probably go ahead and wear a helmet, football pants, and cleats on gameday too. And don't forget the full pads. Real fans dress like the team!

I think its ok to wear a jersey on gameday as long as it fits and I mean fits as in not so tight you can see every roll in your gut. Also, please do not tuck in a jersey!!! That looks really gay.

I wear a jersey to every game!!...Polo's and t-shirts appear to be a concession of to your position in life. Screw political correctness and go with your heart and gameday mindset regardless of age!! If you are a fan that wishes he was 20 yrs younger and still wants ONE chance to destroy an opponent...Jersey it is!

My wife has a selection ready to go every gameday!

It also saves days of recovery

I picked up a Heath Shuler jersey from a soldier I met in Germany with terminal cancer. He had it with him for 2 years in Afghanistan. It's #5 but it is Heath to him

Your never too Old to wear a jerzey to a football game don't listen to what any1 says show your support for your favorite players i'm 23 i just bought a stiched Eric Berry jerzey. I'll prob wear it til i'm 90 Do your thing bro just Rock out the orange.
