How much of a chance do we have at upsetting #1 Kentucky at TBA this year?

I will say this much, though I doubt it helps our cause. The circumstances heading into the game Tuesday night couldn't have worked out better.

Tennessee, the wounded animal, coming off a humiliating loss at home. Kentucky, coming off a blowout victory in Rupp. Perhaps they come in (justifiably) overconfident.

Like I said, probably won't matter, but for our eternal optimists looking for a silver lining...

It's almost like this team was scared to death when they were playing LSU. Hopefully they'll have more confidence coming into Tuesday against UK.

What are the chances this game gets cancelled Tuesday due to snow? I'm from up north and 5-7 is a decent amount, not sure if that affects things around here.

If you're looking for a silver lining, the weather may keep some Ky fans out. Travel is going to be bad Mon-Tue. Of course, that means less UT fans too so it may even out.

If UT can't finish strong at the rim, this game will be as ugly as LSU, but for the entire game. Like Tyndall said, LSU had 2 rim protectors. KY has 5.

If I-75 is impassable then the KY fans won't make it. However, they could still get a plane in the air in Lexington and land it in Alcoa and clear a path between the airport and the TBA. I'll be very surprised to see it not be played as scheduled. ESPN would need to cut back on their production if their people and equipment can't be transported, but there should be enough in place already to put together some form of telecast... even if exclusively using TN's resources.

I wonder which officiating crew has been selected and where they will be on Monday.

Can't be played without the refs and the KY team showing up. It can still happen minus fans and TV crews.

I'm pretty sure no-one on Kentucky's roster was even born when 101-40 happened.

But then, I was, and I enjoyed it.

Only thing I don't like is I heard so many Kentucky fans whining and crying about getting beat by 30 and how Martin was running up the score etc. Funny how they forget about the 101-40 game when they get slaughtered.

The UK team is on the bus to Knoxville now. Looks like we'll have a couple days to warm up at TBA.

I would imagine UK fans that are going would have tried and leave today. Wish the Vols luck. Hope we win, but that's a good clean game that goes smoothly.

Jodie Meeks approves of program records being set at TBA.
