Not much. I "feared" them under Spurrier. I loved to laugh at them under what's his name. I hated them under Meyer. Now I feel a bit sorry for them.

Unfortunately, UT has let the scum that is Florida get under their skin. They allowed a mediocre school become the #1 program in the SEC East.

Fulmer was scared and then got lazy. He should have manned up and crushed them back in the day so we could use more of our hate for Alabama.

I hate Florida fans far more than any other. It is not even close. It's like a redneck white trash family that hit a small lottery. They bring their dirt and filth around talking about their long(20 year) history. I hate most Florida fans.

What I really hate is that we have to use threads like this on a school like Florida. At least Bama, Texas, Michigan, & USCw have a history and give real reason to be envious.

Nobody should hate the poor and simple minded neighbors to the south.

But I do.

I may have only been a UT fan for a short while, but I really hate Florida, Alabama more, but I really hate Florida. It's probably for the best that I live so far away from Gainesville because things could get ugly on a regular basis...

I hope Florida never wins another game.

The fact that, for the past twenty years, UT has underperformed against the Gators has been nothing short of infuriating. Yes, Florida has had some excellent teams in that span. However, even when the Vols should have whipped them, they seemed to play scared or timid.

I hope we kick the absolute crap out of them. Stomp a mudhole, as they say.

While it will be gratifying if we were to win just because its Florida, I personally want to see the team win just because it's a winnable game and breaking a losing streak will serve to build more confidence as the season wears on.

Here's to hoping we see marked inprovement in running the ball north/south and limiting breakdowns in our new defensive scheme. We can do that, we can beat Florida IMO.

And here in lies the problem. They are in our teams head. New regime on both sides will hopefully negate the fact that we are playing 'Florida' and just look at it like it's another football game.

Not much. The teams I have absolute hate for are Alabama, auburn, texasjr, vandy, & georgia

I detest USC (California/Kiffin) and I would rather USC win than Florida if they played each other...I HATE HATE HATE the gators!!!

Was a Jr at UT in 98. Definitly a lot of frustration built up then b/c we had been so good, and even with Peyton, we hadn't beat them. If we do win in two weeks, the feeling will be similar I am sure, in spite of the past few years not being great years.
