Honestly How many tenn fans here think we can pull a upset against the UGAYS? I do not think it will happen but anything is possible in the Sec.

Eh, why not? This team has done the opposite of every other expectation we've had for them.

I do think it is possible, especially with this team. If offense, defense and special teams all come together and have an outstanding game, I think it is very possible. UT is a talented team, it's just a question of whether or not they UT plays to the best of their abilities. Solid defense, special teams and offense with no turnovers and maybe force a few Georgia mistakes, I would say UT can win.

I think its possible if we quit making stupid mistakes and the team plays together like a team. But mainly if Stephens comes out and just controls the offense and does not try to force the ball and just lets the game come to him. Then we can spread the ball around force the Defense to account for everyone then we might be able to run the ball.

I keep trying to tell myself next week will be the break out game where everything clicks. It just has not happened yet. Anything is possible. We sure have the talent. Honestly I still think we lose this weekend but I hope for the win

I don't see us winning Saturday . . . then again, I didn't feel very good about our chances last year either.

It wont happen! Foolmer will once again be outcoached and next week we will get torn a new one by Bama. I hope we win with all my heart even if that means keeping Fulmer, but we are not the same Tennessee team that used to take the field.

I don't think the offense can get it together enough to help the defense. I feel the game will be close, but we will still be on the short end of the stick....

Ive seen nothing to date that would suggest an upset remotely possible. Even with Ga o line problems they will have a couple of big plays. If push comes to shove they will simply out talent us. If by some miracle we do win Marky Mark should be fired immeadiately!

Keep the game close going into halftime and don't give up a cheap one on special teams. The latter part of that might be the toughest thing for us to do.

I don't think our offense will be able to keep our defense off the field. The defense will wear thin and the onslaught will be on. With the turnovers and poor special teams play I expect to see on our part, I'm predicting:

UGA 34
UT 13

UGA may score in the 40's on us if things go against us enough. There is no way our offense will be able to produce enough points. Remember, this offense only put up 13 points on a not so good NIU team last week.

Just got this from The Chattanooga Times Free Press site. These stats don't give us much to hang our hopes on.
UT’s offensive stats, out of 119 FBS teams

Total 97th 317.6 yards per game

Scoring 106th 18 points per game

Rushing 61st 146.4 yards per game

Passing 98th 171.2 yards per game

Passing efficiency 109th 102.6 rating

Third-down conversion 100th 32.9%

First downs 109th 15.8 per game

Red-zone scoring 104th 71%

If it was flipped and the defense was terrible and the offense was good.... maybe not.... but when a team has a good defense, they can stay close and win any ballgame. Checkout the 1992 Alabama team as a reference to what good defense can do for a team with a subpar offense.

NIU has the 24th ranked defense in the NCAA. As a go-by, Georgia is 22nd, UAB is 113th.

i don't think the current ranking of our D truly reflects their level, but i do think that the vols have an upset in them and it is coming this weekend. although i wish they could save it for bama.
