This post.... is just awful.

Coach martin took a team no one thought could compete with anyone, to a disciplined, hard working bunch of guys that played together and for each other. They well over achieved and had they won just one more game they would've been in the big dance.

CCM was a legitimate candidate for SEC coach of the year and is well respected around the league as the right guy for the job. Dooley has garnered so little respect that most SEC faithful don't know if he ties his own shoes or really knows how to properly count up to 11 for Christ sake.

Not saying Dooley can't get it done, but the argument for Dooley being in the same coaching breath as Martin thus far doesn't have any merit.

Right now the board is averaging 9.5 wins, which is an insane over-under. I think Vegas would hit that line so hard that it would drop down to 7.5 in a day.

I said 7. Too many variables, especially if we lose to NCSU or Florida and the rumors/controversey start swirling around the team. If Dooley starts 3-0, who knows where we end up, but one loss early and the distractions start all over again.

The point was they didn't give up, they fought throughout the 2nd half. Were you not saying they gave up?

You don't get credit for "not quitting" in a game where the other team essentially quits trying. Florida went into full on clock killing and prevent defense mode. If they had kept their foot on the gas, they would have easily won by 40.

during August, players will get hurt or soemthing will happen (Remember JJ last August?) both for Tennessee and the teams Tennessee has to play (Remember Crowell couple weeks ago?)

too early yet to predict number of wins. teams makeups will change.

I predict there likely will be 4 or 5 kids most eveyone expects to start for Tennessee, likely DON'T start versus NC State..
