How Many Wins Does CJC Bring To The Table

I don't think he will lose any for us. We should easily win all 4 of the OOC games without having to dial up a bunch of stuff on offense. I think KY is losing too much to be a threat. Good play calling might make a difference with MO, SC, MSU, and VU.

I agree, but I also think the OL will be much improved due to another year of our current S&C staff rather than the beauty salon ran by Lyle's staff. CJC is a great improvement over CTH due to game maturity that comes with experience and responsibility. Personally, I simply don't believe Helton was ready for OC duties at the SEC level especially with the high expectation levels of a fan base like we have here at UT... remember, at USC he was a co-OC with Tee, NOT the full-fledged OC. That being said, I believe along with the aforementioned, our great recruiting classes under CJP thus far, we have the potential to possibly pick up at least three additional wins in 2019. Go VOLS ! ! !

I'll say 1 since I think there are a couple more tossup games in 2019 and I think CJC will do a much better job of utilizing playmakers and gameplanning around known deficiencies than Helton....

Unless he can work miracles I'm not sure year 1 of a new OC will add any. If they can get the most out of the OL I will be happy. Keep JG clean.

Not sure how many wins can be credited to Chaney. I do think we win our 4 non conference games, We also beat South Carolina & some other team. Possibly Vandy
It will take 7 weeks for our O Line to gel together. So the first half of season, we lose to all SEC opponents
Finally get in a bowl game again

I think Tennessee wins 7-8 games this Fall. However, I do not know how many of the 2-3 extra wins can be because of having Cjaney as our OC. I think the Oline will be better; how could it be worse? I tink Chaney will make JG a better QB but I believe he will also be a better QB because of a better Oline. I think we will win more games because we are likely to have an easier schedule than we had last year. Finely, I think we will win more games because we will have a more experienced defense with better LB and DB play. If the transfer from Missagain, by some hook or crook, will be approved to play this Fall, we will have a better Dline. So, I think we win7-8 games this year and maybe a bowl game to add to the total.

None. We were so weak in so many areas, especially at OL, that there’s no way tease out how much poor play calling might’ve cost us. Also, our piss poor defense was every bit as much to blame as our poor offense imo. 40 points to WVa, 47 to Florida, 38 to UGA, 58 to Bama, 50 to Missouri, 38 to Vandy....offensive play calling had nothing to do with our defense being unable to stop anybody.

I think the defense is ahead of the offense. We lacked depth, but could hold our own for a half in most games. The offense put the defense in horrible positions against florida, bama, and mizz. The mizz game was promising until the pick 6. Bama wouldn't have mattered but we gave them the ball twice inside our 30. And we turned it over numerous times against Florida. The defense can make a big jump this year barring injuries. The OL is still going to suck but they can't be worse.
