I'll be there because I just bought season tickets and I'm interested to see who our QB will be and how he will play

My first Tennessee game inside Neyland Stadium. I don't care if we suck, it's gonna be a great time for me.

I have made the first 4 but I might be passing on this one, though I would like to see what Neyland looks like with such few people in it (other than the spring game).

I guess I will just get the PPV to see what Stephens looks like. :)

my first game was in 91 against Auburn. I was 4 at the time.

my first away game was also in 91....the miracle in south bend

I was just a tot for both games. 4 years old, but I remember bits and pieces of each game

You all do realize that there was about 80k (give or take a few thousand) that were actually at UAB... this being before an embarrassing home loss to Florida and another bad performance at Auburn.

UAB was also the home opener... UAB was also earlier in the day - NIU is a 7pm start... the stadium is going to look so empty.. but its on PPV I believe so no one will really see it.

60k and could be worse depending on the gas situation.

Call me crazy, but you name Saint Nick your starting QB and I'd say you would have a better turn out. Name Crompton the starting QB and people that would have had some kind of interest just say, "screw it".

Business is Business, baby. You name Saint Nick your starting QB and you sell more popcorn.

Good point - didn't think about that.. I'm don't think it'd bring more than 3-5k more though.

3-5K

Let's say half those people spend ten bucks inside the stadium.

2,500 x $10 = $25,000

Which is roughly 43% of Phil's weekly paycheck.
