I’m not interested in my money going to overpaid AD, coaches, and agents for a crap product. I assure you if everyone quits buying tickets, they will get much cheaper but as long as tn is making bank on home games they don’t care about product

Fair question. Let’s start winning again, then we will see. I did eventually buy another Ford after my 1987 lemon, but it did take me 30 years.

If it becomes fun again and is something that is worth the time and money, sure. But if it stays on this level, no.

Having season tickets did not make me a ‘better’ or ‘bigger’ fan than anyone else. And me not renewing does not make be less of a fan than what I was before either.

I will keep buying mine in section N. My son and I have fun going to the games. It’s pretty cool to think about some of the teams we have played and players that we have got to see play. Even if the Vols have lost.

At this point, I think many fans will be in wait and see mode. A big time recruiting class would add excitement, but a mediocre one could easily cause further apathy. Pruitt & Co are going to have to put a better product on the field.

What’s dumb about it is that it’s this mindset that has gotten us here. Programs don’t just trip and fall into success. They are big businesses that need to be run as such. By continuing to blindly follow and pay for a mediocre ( honestly not even ) product you’re telling them that it’s ok, just keep cutting corners and I’ll still be there with my checkbook out

I agree that running a program is big business, but winning on the field is determined by way more factors than that. The past 3 coaches all had the opportunity to win big at UT. Kiffin turned away players that went else where and made a difference for them instead of us. Dooley got our offense going and then went and changed the defensive scheme at the worst time, costing him his job. Butch, well there are so many things to bring up on him, but it wasn’t because he was from a mid major it was because he didn’t grow as a coach in the SEC.

The HC at Vandy after the game said something like, we are going to a bowl, we are relevant. What a joke.

We’ll see if CJP can learn from this year. I think he forced the schemes on the players we have instead of identifying their strengths and weaknesses and game planning accordingly.

Trying to blame the fans for what got us here is just as silly as blaming the coaches for coming here when they were offered the job.

CJP needs to turn this around with the players he will have for next year and get this thing rolling quick. Being a bammer keeps his leash short compared to the length of an accomplished VFL.

Not a single Vol wants CJP to succeed because of who he is or what he has done. We all want him to succeed because he is leading the Vols.

I’m 25 years old and I’ve donated THOUSANDS to this university and it’s large in part as to why I get so upset and pissed off about the program. I love my VOLS and every dollar is worth it to me if they’re giving their all for Tennessee. But they aren’t, and after dobbs final season, I didn’t renew. Then I moved to Orlando thankfully so I can’t be tempted to go waste my hard earned money. Makes me sick how far we have fallen

It seems like each hire is worse than the previous one. Seems like the ones in charge of the program hates and looks down on the fans.

For those still loyal to the program, expect to pay even more for tickets to make up for lost revenue.

I will again purchase my season tickets. I have outstanding seats, only downside, they are on the visiting side. I'm hopeful I can trade and get directly across the field behind our team. I think what you see is what you get till you rid the team of many Butch era players; only recruiting will get that done. Hopefully some of the folks who haven't bought in will be able to sit on the bench. For me, I would hope if this is going on, they choose to leave during the off season. I believe Pruitt gets things done, although I'm not sure how long that takes. Next year, I don't expect to be much better, maybe a 6 win or at best, a 7 win season. Let's hope for a good recruiting class, God knows we need it.

I'll hang in there but only if I get a serious upgrade for my four. Thirty years in TT - got moved out to make way for the big money loge seats - wound up in GG. We always have a few thousand rabid gator, dogs, or tide fans behind us..ugh.

From the impression I'm getting - an upgrade oughta be a sure thing.

Don't worry, the fine folks from the Tennessee fund will be calling Monday asking you for a 10% increase in donation this year. Oh and ticket prices will go up to 150 a piece.

If this is truly your feelings...……….you wont be attending very many sporting events. Overpaid is the main stay! And Technically UTs split of the SEC Cash is very good whether they go to a major bowl or not. Big money is in the BCS but thankfully that is split with all the SEC teams.
UT will get 40+Million and not go to a Bowl. RELAX
SEC passing out a record $41m per team, and the Big Ten might pass it

Since 2005 these idiots have spent 1.3 billion dollars to bring the program to this point. Common sense says the individuals involved need to be stopped. What a waste of everyones time and money!
