How many do you think will be at the N Ill game?

I am thinking that we get beat by Aub and go into the game with a 1-3 record. 60,000-70,000 for me.

how many was at the La. Lafayette game last year? I remember that was a small one, I am going to say that it will be substantially smaller.

Well, we have 2 tickets to Auburn that I am probably going to sell. Then we have 6 season tickets which at least 4 of them will not be used more than likely.

It will be tough for those wanting their first Neyland experience. It will be more like Neyland Lite. The program is dead and will be until Fulmer leaves. We are going nowhere fast. A less than full stadium will hit Hamilton where he cherishes most. His bottom line.

While I think you are correct, it would make an even bigger statement if it were a nationally televised game. Too bad I don't think we have any left.

If Bama is still rated high in late October, we might get that one due to Fulmer and the deposition and all that crap. How telling would that be? Bama in the house and it not full.

Then again, we could get beat so bad by other SEC teams before that one that Fulmer could be busy packing that day anyway.

I would say the UK,and Bama games will be on TV but not nationally. Heck they may even move some of our games to the Thursday night ESPN games. lol

Question: Is this poll asking on the number of people who one thinks would actually be there or the "official" attendance that will be announced.

I'll probably ride my bike down there (my house is in Rocky Hill) and try to get a ticket for a buck or two, although some of those delusional scalpers even tried to sell tickets for face for Vandy '05, so I don't know.

lol ture true........ actuall attendance, not AD's math.
Really that is a legit question even without taking a shot at MH - tickets sold vs. actual attendance. Does anyone remember what attendance was toward end of 2005 season?
We were talking with a bunch of regulars in stands on sat. (yes, in 3rd qtr.! when game was over - tho' I told my buddy that it was over at 17-0) about realistic record for this team and consensus was that it depends whether or not this team implodes like the 5-6 team. We will most likely lose to Auburn, AL, & GA & win vs. NI & Wyoming. Most of the fans around me think/thought we'd beat MSU (tho not a given), but couldn't agree on SC (mind you this was before the Wofford score was in) & so then it comes down to whether the team quits vs. KY & Vandy, which is what I believed happened in 2005. I wish it weren't so, and Fulmer could leave on a pleasant note, but doesn't look like that is a possiblity. We have season tix (20+ yrs), so tix are paid for, but now it's come down to whether or not we want to even pay gas/pkg $ for the fun of tailgating and the agony of the game. I can't begin to describe my disappointment.

I go to UT and most of my friends arent going to the N illinois game including myself. Waste of time. Maybe Wyoming since its homecoming. But thats not guaranteed. Why would someone want to go to a game and waste time and money to watch ignorant coaching and terrible execution on almost every play. Its sad to watch and it seems to bring down all the students after we lose

I will be there, it is my birthday and my family is coming up to be with me and they already have tickets. I suspect between 70-80k. It is going to be a sad sight :cray:

lets hope 59,999 or less.Im not trying to be a downer, but lets face it if we dont show it would be an embarrassment to the program. We have got to send a message that we are fed up and tired with this nonsene. Its time for a change.Chris Petersen for Head Coach!

I know the wind has been knocked out of the program, but having a half empty stadium reflects worse on the fans than it does the program. I agree that Fulmer needs to go, but not showing up makes us look like fair weather fans. Not to mention it looks bad to recruits who along with a coaching change are the only hope for turning this thing around.
