How many UT fans going to LA

If you guys want to have a good size tailgate area, you should try to make plans to meet up before entering the stadium area. If you can get 4 or 5 or 6 cars (or more) to all enter together, you can secure a larger area.

The cars will be parked in double stacked rows. You can not just park where ever you want, you will be directed to a certain spot. And trust me...the parking Nazi's do not look kindly on you trying to park somewhere other than where they tell you to park. Nor do they like you to try to turn your car around to back into a space. They want all the cars parked facing the same direction.

Two of us from class of '92 are going to the game. Plan on tailgating at the golf course next to the stadium. Planning on being there this Thursday. Any bars or places where I can find some orange brethren Thursday, Friday or Saturday Night?

Yeah, the golf course/park area is a nice place. Be aware that sometimes they block off one side so it's one way in and one way out. I'm not sure why they do that.

Me and about 7 others are flying from Raleigh @ 6 am Sun. Is anybody going to watch the Angels play?
Does anybody have any suggestions on restaurants in LA.

wow, i was looking on Ebay and tickets for this game are going for really cheap. If only it weren't for the cost of the 3000 mile trip out to LA.

There are a lot that don't even have any bids on them. And there were some that had a But It Now price of $65 for a pair. I don't know anything about the Rose Bowl, and have no idea how good those seats are, but that didn't seem very expensive to me.

I ll be there and Im not worried about a ticket. The game is still not sold out yet. Its not Georgia or Florida. Anybody else gettin fired up?

Going or not, I think everyone around here is fired up. What's the cheapest someone could expect to get a plane ticket if they wanted to arrange a last minute trip?

Well I can also tell you that we should be out there at around 10am or so and I can't imagine there will be that many UCLA fans out there 7-8 hours early for the game. There will only be 5 of us at the start but hopefully we'll have a lot more of a crowd as kickoff gets closer:toast:

There will be a pretty fair amount of UCLA people out there by 10. The largest % of tailgaters won't get there until around noon. But there will be more than a few out there early. There will be a line of cars waiting for parking to open at 7am. Many of us get there very early and do both breakfast and lunch.

I will be there. There is several of us flying out on Saturday morning. We got roundtrip tickets, 3 night hotel in Los Angeles and a rental car for about 425 each. We thought it was a pretty good deal.

I'll be at the Courtyard by Marriot in downtown Pasadena. Just changed my reservations tonight. We are gonna walk the 2 miles to the Rose Bowl on Monday.

Anyone else staying there?
