Yes. I remember seeing UT football tweeting out JRM, Paul Harris, and others signing theirs on the morning of signing day last year.

They may have to sign the LOI on NSD, but I believe that's more a formality. Once they begin classes in January, they are locked in, if I remember correctly.

That is correct. Once they step foot in a classroom the first day of classes, their scholarship is active and they are committed. Signing the LOI on NSD is just a formality.

"Wolf, Helm, Thomas, Payne, Moseley, Pearson, Johnson and Mixon are either here or should be here by the end of the night. The other six should trickle in by the middle to end of the week."

Buck Fitzgrald said Malone will be in Knoxille tomorrow weather permitting.

So under current NCAA rules, are they still considered PSAs (and therefore can't be publicly discussed by coaches etc) until Feb. 5th, despite the fact that they're actively enrolled students?

As long as they've signed their financial aid agreement, the coaches can talk about them.

It is possible, that they could sign scholarship papers and not sign a loi. The school prefers the loi but can be done without it, puts more control of transfer in favor of the school with the loi. Heard Bill King state this numerous times over the years on Sirius XM.

I think we should use it on Henderson he is needed on Dline giving him the spring to bulk up and using him in passing downs like we did vereen last year, as for Creamer, with all the talent coming in at WR, I look for creamer to RS. Since it's likely Malone and Pearson will start along with pig, north and croom. And the other guys from last year will be in rotation. So RS creamer and EE Henderson.

And they had to sign FA papers in order to EE...right? I'm unsure on this point. I don't recall hearing about most of the EEs signing them, but maybe they did.

Wasn't it Patrick Robinette who was enrolling early at UNC, moved into the dorm and then called Vandy from the UNC dorm and switched to Vandy? He moved out, went to Nashville and started to classes a day or so later.

He never went to a class or practice at UNC so he was able to do this.

Classes start Wednesday. My daughter is a freshman and she's heading back over today, weather permitting.

Couple of morning notes on enrollees...

Like we said last night, Wolf, Helm, Johnson, Mixon, Payne, Pearson, Moseley and Thomas are all in Knoxville.

Malone and Hurd are expected in today after getting home from the Army game yesterday.

Owen Williams and Dontavius Blair should be here by midweek, as will Raulerson.

We are still waiting on who will be that last guy in as both Henderson and Creamer are still both waiting it seems.

I think both still are trying to get through the clearinghouse, etc and if that's going on at this point I think they will be happy just to get one of those guys in not to waste that other early enrollee spot. Worst case scenario is neither make it in. I think they are hoping at least one gets through. If both make it through I'm not sure how they would handle it, but right now I'd say there's a greater chance of only one getting through.

Henderson is still doing some school work and Creamer has been to like three or four different high schools and the one he's at now has been described as a diploma mill by some so, like I said, I think they are hoping at least one of these guys gets through.
