How many of you are tired of Heupel not able to win big games??

Perhaps change your username to “whine-man” or something similar. 4 years ago we would have been blown off that field. Should we expect more now? Absolutely. But take into account there are a handful of teams that can do what we do. MAYBE 10-12 of them.

It’s almost like we haven’t beat Bama 2 out of 3. Or made it to the playoff.

My opinion: If you’re griping about coaching you are ignorant to the college game. Prove me wrong by citing specific examples where coaching is losing these games. I’ll even go first: Should have run another play at the end of the game instead of icing our own kicker. Counterpoint: risk/reward if we go offsides again and are now 10 yards further than the original LOS. Wrong call? Debatable.

CJH and his staff have improved this team immeasurably since coming onboard. Count your blessings instead of your gripes. We are winning, competitive, and can beat all but maybe 2-3 teams if we play lights out.

LFG Vols!

It is very clear that even with teams not that good, when a big game comes around that the VOLS need to win, Heupel alters his persona and strategies to play it safe, not have discipline on the team (thus silly mistakes) and here we will be once again: a bunch of meaningless wins and NO championships. He has done a great job of getting the team out of the dungeon, but seems to lack that "special it" that makes for championship coaches. Time to give him a nice bonus, thank him for his service and send him on his way.
You really need to get your facts right before making ridiculous statements. Aside from Georgia and Ohio State, we have measured up fairly well in big games. We are 2-2 with bama and Florida. We are 1-0 with LSU. We Texas a@m in 2023. We beat Clemson in the Orange Bowl. We are going to win a lot of games this year. This team is only going to get better. We let one get a way yesterday, but we got a lot more opportunities ahead. This is a fairly young team overall and one I believe is a very hungry team. This game should be a valuable learning experience for team and the staff. Everything is still out there is front of us. If we get our 2 D-tackles back soon that will help tremendously and it will also help the secondary to a degree also. And while our young DB’s lack a lot of experience they aren’t void of talent. I expect them to continue to improve. We need to continue to stay healthy up front and in the secondary the rest of the way on defense but if we can get Moi and Hobbs back soon it will make a big difference. GBO

Are you a Florida fan, or is it Vandy? Tennessee was the better team Saturday, had a win get away because a young kid missed a field goal. It happens, but this is a very good team. And by the way, I don't see any names on your list that have won a College BCS football national championship.

Are Florida and Alabama not big games? He's won big games

Thank goodness for the search function since this guy decided to private his profile (I wonder why).

Here is exhibit A from what is in all likelihood a low effort troll account, or if he's actually serious, just an all around ignorant individual.

In short, I'll quote Billy Madison:

“What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

I’m really tired of our stupid fans.

We should have beaten Georgia but I’ll also put things in perspective. Most didn’t think we’d be as good as last year, and I think we are better.

We can be tired at Heupel not winning some of these big games, but I’m thankful he’s got us out of the ditch and we are a top team and relevant again. Strong recruiting class next year. Things continue to look up

Only time we have fell short against a team during Josh Heupels tenor for the most part is when we are not on the same footing talent wise. If 2026 recruiting is showing anything, we are beginning to close that gap.Hell,we almost beat Georgia with less talent.

Any of these would be an improvement: Kliff Kingsbury, Aaron Glenn, Vance Joseph, Ben Johnson, Kellen Moore
WTF you have got to be kidding. Klimt Kingsbury? The same dude who was a college football head coach for 6 years and never posted a better record than 7-5?

That guy?

You should quit smoking whatever it is you've been smoking because it's making you think like an idiot.

any of these would be fine: Kliff Kingsbury, Aaron Glenn, Vance Joseph, Ben Johnson, Kellen Moore

You are delusional on these names, Number 1.

2, it’s interesting that beating the likes of Alabama, LSU and Florida are not “big wins” to you.

Your post is an example of this tiring trend.
