How many of you actually went to or are currently attending school at UTK?

They do, but they are EXTREMELY expensive. Can't remember off the top of my head, but I was shocked.
I got a MS degree thru UTM and it was only slightly higher than if I had been attending on campus.

...and I didn't have to deal with renta-cops giving me tickets on campus, that was worth the extra money.

I don't know what the rates were exactly. But they seemed outrageous. I looked it up once while I was deployed.

I took some university of maryland classes that were offered. They had a military specific program. Wish UT did.

Charles, I would say your profile is much closer to that of the average UT fan than mine. It would be really hard to fill 108,000 seats if the only fans you had were alums. I actually find that the most passionate fans are what Notre Dame calls their "Subway Alumni." Folks whose only connection to the school is their love of the team. That to me is the great thing about football at a big state school. If all you have are alums, you've got the Ivy league.
Great post hat. I for one do not attend UTK, I attend Pellissippi State Technical Community College. I am working full time and taking online classes. My girlfriend does, however, attend UTK and was just accepted into the College of Education.

I was the only sibling that didn't go to college. I grew up in Athens 1 hour south of Knoxville and that's all that town knows is TN football so hence I became one. My sister went to UTK, my other sister to UTC and my brother to WVU. I sure love our vols and the people I work with sure know what color my blood bleeds.

I'm in my 4th out of 5 or 6 years. (Depends on Grad School stuff) I grew up in Lenoir City as a Vol Fan, though I had seen probably a hundred games on tv, growing up, I'd never gotten into football until enrolling at UT in 2003. I've done 4 years in the Pride, and an now looking forward to that 5th year as a 'student' at the games.
