In upside, but I don't see how you could really judge him against the garbage time D of UGA. He does have a quicker release, but if he was under full speed pressure he would be more apt to make mistakes.
Play him and find out. Simms has been alright, and that is good bc most thought he was going to be horrible. BUT, Bray has much more upside. I still think Dooley and Co. have had a plan for him all along and getting him more playing time in the next few games is going to culminate with a start toward the end of the season.
Most of the sacks are not Simms' fault. Usually, he doesn't even have to time to get rid of the ball because the O-line completely misses a blitzing defender.Simms may not be the problem, but I don't think he's the answer either. UT is 107th in sacks. He has to get rid of the ball quicker like Bray did. The Oline is terrible, he has to throw it.
