My best story is this year in Tuscaloosa. We checked into our hotel and consumed the sweet leaf for about 2 hrs, gettin ready for the game and such. Headed down to the car to head to Bryant Denny. My buddy forgets his phone in the room and goes back up to get in. He's on his way out of the room when the door opens, and there stands Aaron Sears(HUGE)and two of his homies. They looked at each other and Aaron cracked the akward silence with "Damn, smells like some GOOD in here!!" LOL I saw them talkin at our door from the plot and (why I don't know) decided to run up there to make sure everything was ok. (I'm 5'11, 160) To my surprise I found a NFL lineman at our door asking us why we were in his room! They had double booked the room and given him our room. Needless to say he got the room next door and we didn't leave for the game for another hmmm ab 40 minutes I guess. LOLOLOL I thought we were gonna get our arses kicked!!!! He's HUGE

^ Reminds me about running into Ndamukong Suh just recently coming out of Portland City Grill.

I was there on a date with a girl I was seeing at the time (broke it off with her about three weeks ago), she was buying my dinner 'cause she had a $100 gift card from work. :)

We're on our way out, headed for the elevator when I notice a really big dude in a sweat suit. I figured he must have been there for happy hour at the bar, no biggy, when he turns around, and I immediately recognize his face... From the freakin' Heisman ceremony a month earlier! Turns out he's there with his family, who he's waiting on with who I suppose is his dad or uncle. I chat football with him for a couple minutes, really nice guy.

About four more members of his family show up and cram in the elevator, as I'm waiting for all of them to get in with my date, they had to pop the door open once to get themselves in. They see us standing outside and try to prop the door open once more, so I tell my date "C'mon, hurry up!" but for whatever reason, she froze. I tried holding the door open once more, but it starts beeping this time and won't re-open. Ndamukong is in the back giggling a little bit and his dad/uncle said "Oh man, I hope this isn't your first date..." Me: "Actually it is... I'm gonna be down on my knees apologizing once her elevator hits the lobby." We all said later at the bottom of the ride.

And I did smooth things out.

I met Pete Rose in Ceasars Palace, Vegas. My buddy asked him what the line on the Reds game was. It went silent, then he just laughed it off. We were just passing by, it was great.

taylor swift, rod woodson, jerome bettis, blake shelton, george strait, chuck noll, but have always wanted to meet Peyton in person. Def think he would have to be one of the coolest guys ever made.

I was the first waste case to ask Taylor Swift to sign my chest, she def got a kick out of it.

Back in another lifetime, I was an animal trainer and got to meet several people through our programs. Once did a photo shoot with Shaq- he was in Indianapolis when the Lakers played the Pacers in the Championships.

Also did programs for Jon Bon Jovi and Hulk Hogan and their families.

Shaq was huge, JBJ didn't want anyone to know he was there, and Hulk was very nice and friendly.

Met Shannon Doherty on set of her TV show before 90210, was it "Our House" or something like that? Also met Wilford Brimley- also on the show.

On a lesser note, did programs for a few race car drivers- Ward Burton (not Jeff), Tony Stewart, Sarah Fisher, and Johnny Rutherford (does anyone remember him?).

Oh man, that is truly hilarious. That's the #1 story in my book. I called Tim Hardaway, not expecting it to be his real #, while at the dinner table with my fam (I'm 18).He picked up, I recognized his voice right off top so I didn't really know what to say. I played it off by making some BS up about me being from a Atlanta Charity that mentored troubled youth (always works lol) and that I was inquiring about him speaking. Of course I led the convo directly to a Q that he would tell me to call his agent/manager/people. Ha, he bought the story, I never called back. It was definately THard tho.

Here's a funny story: When I was a Resident at Tampa General Hospital, Hulk Hogan actually brought me a child patient who had somehow escaped and wandered out to the parking lot in a hospital gown and with an IV still hanging out of his arm. We shook hands (his finger and thumb easily overlapped) and joked around for a minute about the desk staff obviously being a little too lax. His freaking arms are huge. You just can't appreciate how big those guys are until you are up close and personal. Ah, the benefits of (illegal) modern "medicine."

Other that that, I had dinner with Fred Thompson, have hung with Scott Miller a number of times, met David Keith at a hoops game, John Duncan, Jimmy Matlock, William DuVall (new lead singer for Alice in Chains), Garrison Star, Todd Snider, Mindy Smith, Majors, Fulmer, Pearl, Peyton Manning, Tee Martin, and a fair number of lesser-known musicians.

I was an on-air personality and acting music director for Star 102.1 (pop station in Knoxville) for about five years. Through that job, I got to meet and hang out with a lot of musical stars. I won't list everyone that I met, but I'll put those of significance that I was able to spend a long period of time with.
The following are artists that I either partied with backstage, or I interviewed them at some point.
Hinder, Nickleback, 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer, Lifehouse.
Sports-wise, I had a beer with Aaron Rodgers last summer, and I met Tim Wakefield when he was a rookie with the Pirates.
Does Phil Fulmer count? My wife's family is friends with his family, so I've spent quite a bit of time around him.
