How many drops did #3 have?

Too damn many. I appreciate him giving his all for the Vols, but I'd love to see Byrd start.

Byrd should have started the freakin' game. We've got coaches who are slow to play the best players--see Dobbs!

You are correct about Byrd he's unreal. Josh Smith is like a charity case. Why he's on the field I will never know.

Never came back from ankle injury with same quicks.

Depends on if you count some of the BS wrapping A&M was doing. I'm not defending him but sheesh.

This exactly, he was assaulted on two "drops", very clear interferences. He had one crucial drop on the last drive and maybe another earlier.

My observation about the wide Recievers in general as opposed to some others:
If they get hit right after the ball gets there they usually don't catch it,
If they have any contact on the outside deep ball they don't catch it,
If the balls low, high a little behind they don't catch many
If they are wide open they catch most but stil drop some

On the pass interference call on the pass to Jauan, didn't Jauan catch that ball? The refs ruled it incomplete.

For the life of me, I don't understand why they don't give Jauan more opportunities to go up and make plays.

Malone was our go-to big play guy to start the season. He did have some alligator arms at times today but he has made some huge catches in prior games.

Might be a bit early to bench the man although I do think Jennings and Byrd have huge upside.
