Have played 2 Top 10 teams and 1 Top 25 team so far this year? No other SEC team has to my knowledge. Tennessee has.

I wish you guys would stop making these dumb aasssss posts. Like if we were neck in neck with these fools then yes u could argue some stuff. But we are getting murdered. Gonna be next year before we see what we want . And even then I don't think we will ever see it with JG at QB.

Texas A&M will also have by the weekend’s end.

If we’re going by rankings at the time of being played, then LSU will have by the end of the weekend, as will Oregon.

Those playing a team this week does not equal already played. If you go by who they will play that is different. Tennessee's next 2 games are also against top ranked teams.

The point morons is that when any team plays only top ranked teams, it might be a bit hard to win. Particularly when that team was 0-8 and changed coaches and has limited talent on the roster. It goes to expectations. Moral victories? Do you think Tennessee is in some bubble and should win every game just because you are a fan? No, they are just like everyone else in terms of resources etc.

Do you want a participation trophy VolFan..But??
What is that?? No, but those that think a team destroyed by Mike Hamilton 10 years ago, coming off an 0-8 season with a new coach and limited talent might think to understand how this all works and that amount of time it will take to fix. And BTW, I am probably the only former D1 athlete on this board.

We also played One of the worst
I suppose the other Power 5...or other SEC teams have not played any bad teams. Take a look. These days they all have 4 out of conference games. 4. Most play Louisiana something or another, Coastal Carolina, Austin Peay, Murray State, UT Martin, Tennessee State, etc. ETSU is 5-1 and getting votes. Actually 26th in FCS. That is better than the teams many of the SEC has played.

It goes to the absurd expectations of this program. Historically, outside of the Hall of Famer's era, this has been about a 6-5 program. And after Pruitt and Fulmer leave, will be again. Git in where you fit in LOL!!

So again, very few if any has played 3 ranked teams (2 in the top 10) to this point. After Alabama, Tennessee's first 5 Power 5 opponents will be Top 25 if not Top 10 minimum. Very few if any can say that. In fact, 4 of the 5 will be Top 10 opponents. But hey, coming off 0-8 they should clean up on the top 10. Right? LOL!!!

So if I'm reading this correctly we play a tough schedule and we suck and it's not fair? You want us to drop down to the Sunbelt conference so we can win some?

That would make sense if we hadn't scored 28 points against UTEP and had several moments during that game where we couldn't move the ball. With the exception of WVU, virtually every other UT team over the last 50 years has played pretty much the same schedule with many opening up with tough games as well

Tennessee schedule is almost the same as LSU's this year, as far as playing top SEC teams.

Both play:
Alabama
Georgia
Florida
Auburn

UT has also the following:
WV
Kentucky

LSU has:
Miami
MSU/Texas A&M
