So many cliches - I wish he would spend more time on coaching and player development than cliches.

There are many, many more cliches that I can't remember.

My favorite is this one because it makes no sense

" It starts with me, it starts with our coaches and players. It starts with everyone in our football program."

That's a lot of starting , but where the hell does it end?

Here are the excuses I've seen so far. Feel free to add on.

  • Jalen Hurd whining cost us USCjr. game
  • Vanilla the first few games
  • Injuries
  • Starting slow
  • offensive coordinators fault
  • defensive coordinators fault
  • WHO IS OUR Strength and Conditioning coach?! HIS FAULT!

We haven't blamed the refs really this year so I can't add that.

Dunno why my thread was moved to this thread.. Mine was a list of excuses fans have had for our crappy team, not the cliche of butch jones.

Butch gets on the refs plenty during the game without commenting about it afterward, unlike some coaches.
