How long does butch wait till a hire or announcement is made? My guess would be fairly soon with NSD a couple weeks away and needing to implement the new offense asap

We won't be implementing a "brand new" offense. Butch is going to hire someone that can thrive in this type of offense with a dual threat QB and the type of offense we have.

Also, it's butch's offense. It will not change. Especially with our o line issues.

I've been thinking this too. Maybe Azzani isn't his first choice though.

Could be that he doesn't want it.
Could be that there is a conflict with taking that position. Right now Azzani is the Wide Receivers coach as well as the Recruiting Coordinator. If he becomes the Offensive Coordinator would he really have time to also be the Recruiting Coordinator?

Replacing Azzani would be bad news since he's key with recruiting.
