i know it'll be a while. Anyone have any idea?

2 weeks..
but seriously..I hope like heck he does retire soon..2 or 3 more years.
right now he has 1 ring..4 MVP's.
I do not want him to be one of those QBs that try to hang on in his older years and gets moved from team to team for 1 year just to win another superbowl.
Do like John Elway......leave it with your HEALTH and money..and right now Payton has both....all it takes is 1 hit.

He is still playing at a very high level, why would he even entertain the thought of retiring? He has never played better.

Colts fans should quit worrying about when he will retire and just enjoy what he is doing, we will never see this again. And Colts haters will just keep suffering their regular butt kickings as long as he is in Indy.

And by the way it's PEYTON

If he's going to do like John Elway, he has four season to go.

i say peyton manning plays 5 more years. 3 of them on a very high level. I know many of you are saying he'll play close to another decade, but even though it really doesn't seem like it, he did just finish his 12th season. And he is 33. And as much as this guy works and puts his whole body and mind into the game round-the-clock yearround seemingly, i just don't see him playing into his 40's like favre. I do still believe he'll win another super bowl, and i think he'll hold every single statistical record there is. And yes, with a high possibility that he'll go down as the best to ever take a snap in the NFL. All this assuming he stays healthy ofcourse.
