How long is LaMarcus Thompson out??

With Greg King looking like he will be out against KY it would be great to have LaMarcus back on the field. I haven't seen anything about how much time he is expected to miss.

Does anybody know how much time Thompson is supposed to miss?

I have no clue. I thought he was supposed to be able to go this week. He was listed in the line ups this morning. I've been all over the board this morning praising Shane "Mini-Nick" Reveiz, but our depth is really low.

If Thompson stays out next week, then Shane better be ready to play every snap, regardless of a big lead or deficit. I don't think we have any linebackers left except the redshirters, and we really don't want to waste one on the last regular season game of the year.

Rod Wilks anyone?

I believe he was held out this week, just as a precaution. He should be fine for KY.

LaMarcus is supposed to be back for the Kentucky game. He's having problems with "stingers." I used to get 'em all the time back in my day. It's just a pinched nerve, but the burning sensation it creates when it happens can be a little scary.

It's not a serious injury.

I know Lamarcus and I talked to him Thursday and he said that he should be good for Kentucky. He was still just real sore.
