How long has Monte got?

As long as his health holds up. Monte is 69.
Paterno and Bowden are 82 and 79 and still coaching.

I was discussing this with my gf last night. I'm hoping CMK will be around another 5 years, at least, in order to install a great defensive scheme, a fab defensive coaching staff, and a steady stream of top-quality defensive recruits. If he stays more than that, gravy.

But I also don't feel comfortable discussing this guy's imminent demise on a public forum...ugh.

Not because he is who he is, but...this is the best I have seen the football team (preparation wise) in many a year.

Monte still has more spring in his step than most 30 year olds...He could be around for a good 10 years if he wants.

Who cares how long he's got. He still outcoaches the younger guys. What he's doing is mentoring two great ones at his side as well. Why so negative after a great performance. Even if it's for a year or two, UT should be counting our lucky stars we have him or yesterday would've be a debacle.

Worst Thread ever? CMK is the BEST thing going for this team right now . . . . why talk about something that has no basis?

I agree Law Vol. This thread just wasted my time answering. Who cares! Monte will do more in one year than Chavis has done in the last five.
