Bama is an oddity.
That school buys into the program, the boosters buys into the program, their whole state buys into it...It's Roll Tide this or that, heck they even say it in church instead of amen.
UT past admins really hurt this program and Fulmer should've been fired along with Pruitt and not given that golden parachute he got...

Agree, the plays have been there. If Hooker starts the rest of the year then he’ll be the favorite next year. We just need some WRs who can catch & overall better execution. Frustrating how close we were to being 3-1 !!!

Yes we would have lost this game with Meyer or Saban. Saban is a total anomaly. An outlier. Meyer took over a talented UF team and a loaded OSU.

pretty sure Calloway wasnt the only guy out there on the field tonight.. yeah the drop was bad but many other chances to score but didnt '

The significance and timing of that drop was by far the most negative play as far as game momentum. We answer Florida’s score. After the drop we were deflated and it showed the very next Florida drive.

We'll be back as quick as we can get a QB. Imagine if we had a QB today...we have the ball longer...Fla doesn't score as much...and we don't get blanked in the 2nd half and possibly win this game. We are a lot closer than people think. We went toe to toe w them w a subpar QB for the 1st half. It's gonna come down to coaching and the QB. We already have a defense good enough to win alot of games in the SEC... despite losing so many. Honestly...did our defense play Fla worse than what Bama did? Not much if at all....but we have bad QB play. As bad as there is. THAT...is what is missing. IMHO. I will say it concerns me that Heupel thinks Milton is any good.

Honestly, mabey with a decent/good recruiting class a year MABEY 2. our Vols showed me something today, only down by a garbage 3 at half. I damn near walked out of my Amazon job to go watch the 2nd half, glad I didn't. If we could keep making progress we will be contenders sooner rather than later. Just didn't have the manpower to compete all the way throughout today. That gives me hope tho....hate losing but we have a lead in the first half, so did Buma, so fwiw, were not so far away from getting a real upset this year.

Why in the world some of you guys keep blaming QB play tonight is beyond me. Hooker was solid tonight.
I don't care who the QB back there is if the WR's aren't going to catch balls that hit them in the hands, balls that were perfectly placed and with touch at that..

Yep, Hooker was solid. Game completely changes if Calloway catches that pass, not saying we win but pressure is on FL if he catches & scores. Even if he doesn’t score & just catches.

Agreed and he didn't just miss one pass that he should've caught. Starting to wonder if some of these guys even watch the game.
Heck even Bullet Over Throw Joe threw some passes in the other game to these guys that should've been caught, yet were dropped.

I’m not basing anything on Georgia, I saw Ark beat A&M today so I’m just saying based on if they played each other today Ark would win. At least my guess, that is what we all do right?
who knows who will beat who next week?
