How long before new coach is raised to sainthood?

Nobody wants a real coach more than I, a winning coach, that will actually turn the program around, and I don't mean in 3-5 years. It's time we, the Vol Fans demand a high quality, ass kicking coach, that walks the walk, even if he doesn't talk the talk.
I'm afraid the looney tooone fan-boys will have a new man crush on the next hire, the day he signs! Their unnatural love affair with our HC hurts when that HC sucks-case in point-jones.
I'll give him 100% support, and some slack, but not an open check book, he must get us back on the winning track- soon, no more of the brick by brick, year by year crap we've heard for so long.:hi:

It cracks me up that no matter how bad the here is, everyone has a man crush.

I laughed at the Kiffin and Dooley hires. With Butch, I just shrugged. Oh boy, I was such a nega because I didn't have the man crush.

For a while, I thought maybe I was wrong about Butch. I said the day he was hired he'd never win the SEC...but he had me believing in him for little a while.

I hate the instant coach love people have here. The gullibility or blind faith our fan base has is nuts.

Today, (not 20 years ago)I view coaches as subcontractors. I "like" them after they prove themselves. Until then, my affection for them is in check.

Truthfully, though...
Whoever comes in as our new HC can win and win big,
then I don't mind if he's elevated to Pope of East Tennessee.

Just win, baby! Just win.

So what should we demand?

An SEC championship in year two or GTFO?

Two nattys by year 6 or he's out tha door!!

If we don't get what we want lets all agree to get on VN, Twitter and piss and moan until we get what we want!!

By G_d I'm sick of this crap of slow improvement! I want my Big Mac and I want it now!!

In a year or two, how about being in play in the SEC?
You are the only one talking about a 'Natty", two in fact, by year 6-crack is a powerful drug!
I believe UT should be a force in the SEC, should be rated in the top 25 ALL SEASON, we should not be handed a 41-0 ASS KICKING -AT HOME. Fluff games should be an AssKicking. We do not need a coach that is paid millions of dollars per year, and can't call TO's correctly, calls in some of the most stupid (game costing) plays of all time, and posts L against Vandy!!!
We need a coach that develops talent, and if he is going to stick to an offense, recruit those players that fit that offense, then develop their skills.
Do not recruit players that have zero chance of developing their skills, due to the failure of the HC to recognize the strengths of his players.
In short, any good coach will be FAR better than what we have now, and a great coach will be most welcome by all of TN!:hi:

so hopefully the string of Kiffin White Visors, the rediculous Dooley orange pants and my god the stupid "BuTch Please" shirts will stop. Hopefully folks will say "Coach, get to work, bring your lunchpail and let's build a winner" -- and leave him alone until year 3.

That's my hope
