Hid Dad won the score contest last week, and I think he said he was gonna get Jaden something with the gift card!

That's nice. His Dad will have to add a room onto the house for Jaden's Vol stuff. Hope he's having a ball this season.

The end result was awesome. He got to be on Live at Five, get on the field, tour the facilities, go to G-burg and the Aquarium and have a blast! The pictures were the best.

Indeed. Just gives me a good feeling when I think about all he got to experience.

Sorry guys, just seen the thread. We have been very busy with school, work, and all the after school sports and stuff. Not to mention we are looking to buy our first house, which is crazy and time consuming to say the least (Jaden wants a UT room :)). I also mostly use VN to stay up on everything and get some good laughs. Tend not to post that much. Does that put me in the "lurker" category :unsure:. Anyway.....

Jaden is doing great. He had a B team grasshopper football game tonight. He had 4 tackles and one solo. He is not the most athletic but he gives it his all and he loves it so much. He gets so excited when he gets in the game. Its his passion. Just not another way to describe it. He is still working hard in therapy and is still making great strides. The only bad thing is that they are closing down his school at the end of the year. :sad: This sucks because he will not get the same one on one service anywhere else that he will go.

We went to the UC game and he had a blast. We also have tickets to the MT game. Last Saturday, he came in my room and poked me. I woke up and asked what he needed. He said "dad, I want my ticket." I told him it was 7 and to get his little stinking butt out of my room. Then he said "dad, I want my ticket now. I love Tennessee and just want my ticket to the game. Please!!!!!!" It was hilarious. He is such an amazing kid (may be a little bias). I added some pics below from this year. The second one is him before school last Friday. And yes he wore the smokey hat to school :lolabove: What happened last year and the way everyone came together was nothing short of amazing.

99% of the time he keeps a smile on his face, especially after he started talking. He was so frustrated before. Now he is always smiling, laughing, and making everyone else smile. Just an amazing kid.
