How have "insiders" earned their e-cred?

I'm not expecting anyone to be 100% accurate. Just wondering why there is a handful of people with "inside" info that get the benefit of the doubt. What have they gotten right in the past to deserve that?

Again, I'm not calling them liars or accusing them of making stuff up. They may very well know something and it falls through behind the scenes.

Personally speaking I won't believe anything until the official UT press conferences firing DD and announcing the new HC.

Obviously it's a subjective thing - I am skimming through the threads for laughs, but when I really want to know if anything has changed, I search the board for most recent posts by about 4-5 guys. I realize that these 4-5 posters might not be right, but I don't THINK they are just blowing smoke. I base it on how long they've been on the board & how much they post, how they talk (general tone, whether they sound immature or not) & how specific they are in their posts/predictions. I don't post a lot, but do read a lot - I recognize the names of the posters that I tend to find more credible based on their previous posts - particularly about UT football in general & recruiting. I know nothing's 100 percent, it's just my gut instinct that these guys know something.
