How has Appalachian State faired against power 5 since Michigan..

Heard a guy call into Swain this morning with the "DeBord and Strip were on Michigan's staff" as a trivia question for Jayson.....asked the question and then did his version of dropping the mic. Lol. It was ridiculous IMO.

We're gonna roll Appy State by no less than 30 points IMO...wish em well beginning a week from Friday. Until then though, bless their hearts.

It's going to be medieval! 100% guaranteed!

The math is way wrong. App State has been outscored 293-69 since the win in the Big House. That's an avg of 48.8-11.5 rounded up to 49-12

that win against a mediocre michigan team was a fluke! UT will beat app state like a rented mule---52-10! bet the house!

That Michigan team was highly ranked. As a matter of fact, this year is the highest preseason ranking for Michigan since that game.

Guess who else is ranked the highest since that 2007 season? Yep, Tennessee. Tennessee started 2007 #3 in the polls. Hopefully Debord is sharing the past to not overlook Appy St. Will Tn listen? Closer game than experts think?

Hmm, nay. I'm going 48-13.

Tennessee wasn't in the preseason top 10 in 2007.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good interwebz post!

Tennessee was #15 preseason (ended up pretty close to that at the end of the season).

While we're at it lets go ahead and put Nebraska on upset alert next week. Wyoming beat us in 2008 so surely they can handle Nebraska in 2016

How do you figure? Got numbers?

Based on his scores listed, it should be 48.83 to 11.5. Losing by an average of over 5 touchdowns a game must hurt.

EDIT: Oops, someone else already posted it. Whatever, he deserves a double correction.

Dang. And people still wanna reference the 2007 Michigan game? I like stats but I ain't much into worrying about outliers like that one. Appreciate you sharing the numbers.

The thing to remember is that they also had a historically great dual-threat QB at Appy State then- Armanti Edwards.

Lamb isn't that.

You're thinking of 2005 when we were #3 heading into the season.

anyone remember this thread?

Before Appy State morphed into 2001 Miami.

This stuff happens, but the argument that Appy State is a great team is poor.
