Miami will jump ahead of us if they win. Houston should drop below us. They lost at home to an unranked team.
You have Nebraska and Baylor that are undefeated and then there is Wisconsin with 1 loss.
Thus there are 3 maybe 4 that might end up in front of Tennessee coupled with 1 that should fall below Tennessee - so if the voters really believed that A&M was the 8th best team in the country - the drop should not be more than 4 maybe as little at 2.
A few teams ranked near us are losing/have lost. Our close loss in 2OT to a higher-ranked opponent at their place should help cushion our drop in the rankings.
Baylor and Nebraska, who did not play this week but are undefeated may jump above us. Wisconsin - not sure. And depends upon how the voters look at the loss by Houston. Should be no worse than 11 or 12.
If that happens, then the polls are a joke - that would put either some 2 loss teams, or teams below us that lost (Miami) or a 1 loss team we beat in front of us. And set them up to look really stupid next week when we beat Alabama.
Plus there isn't 15 teams that are better than Tennessee. I know some of you want that to be true - but in reality Team 120 is a very good football team.
Teams definitely ahead of us Bama, OSU, Clemson, Mich, Lville, Wash, TAM
Likely ahead of us Nebraska, Baylor.... probably Wisconsin
Unknown -Houston (I think they drop down past Ole Miss)
I think # 11 is most likely, + or - 1 at the most.
