How does this lawsuit affect us?

If Hart did this to Pat Summit...then he should be terminated immediately!! To put pressure on the greatest BB coach of all time would be bad enough but telling her she wasn't the coach after 38 years is unacceptable!!

Shouldn't affect the football program at all other than losing a classless AD!!

I started to question this myself but I get back to thinking about Paterno being bigger than the program. Maybe it's different because Summitt wasn't a jerk off like Paterno and also LVBB is not the lifeblood of the AD like football is here and PSU.

Ultimately I have a hard time coping with Summitt leaving because she is so admirable. But we complain about having good-ole-boy UT people who let the AD run amok so we bring in an unbiased outsider... then he slights a UT legend and we're pissed because he doesn't "get it."

Obviously with little detail I can't pick a side, but perhaps DH was trying to prevent a future PR nightmare of Summitt struggling IF in fact she did not willfully resign?
