How does our Best RB play very sparingly in the second half???

Mind boggling.

Foster probably played his best game of the year, too, except...

That kid had explosive speed on the draw play he took for a TD. He stiff armed a usually very sound LB in Sean Lee in the backfield and then just ran past PSU's defense. As a PSU fan I was happy to not see any more of him later in the game. He could break a big one at any moment.

I don't think Arian can out-run PSU's secondary.

.. he just happened to hand 'em 10 points.
Exactly. See my other thread about his ball-handling skills. I think Coker is the starting RB next year hands down. They need to convert Arian into a full-time blocking back or relegate him to special teams play only (but not returning kick offs  )

why was foster still in the game, he fumbles early and they put him right back in after coker runs for a td.

Foster's a disappointment. He's going to be a sparingly used 2nd team RB next season, Coker will be the feature back next season.

Foster had a couple of decent runs but that fumble killed UT's chances. 10 pts wouldnt have beaten any bowl team this year.

what a huge runaround. foster was supposed to be the "feature back" this season based on what he did after riggs' injury in 2005.

We need to get Creer on board and use him as our Running Back, rather than an all-around or speed back like Coker.

I think people miss some of the big picture here too. Our blocking was terrible on the O-line. This zone blocking thing is getting us in trouble.

Coker was the higher recruited back out of high school everyone sees why now.

The digg on Coker was he supposedly had problems fumbling. A supposed strength of Foster. Foster erased that. Foster has cemented himself behind Coker.
