Anyone hear anything about a possible wildcat? That could definately help out a young QB to split some snaps with a good Wildcat formation. If he does create a package, look for david oku to do it since he may not be starting... Da'rick to get that opportunity. Would be electric!

I don't pretend to know for sure, but based on Dooley's conservative, fundamental, old-school nature I highly doubt we would run that.

I read in an article that he said that he would look into the possibility and that he even has a player in mind to run it. I wonder if he would just go G. Jones since he has experience with it, or try someone new.

They ran it at La Tech so I wouldnt be shocked if we implemented some type of wildcat

Ted Meline perhaps as Wilcat QB? (Since he's the guy that everyone likes at punt returner right now)

Yeah, I heard Stone will be the guy. They are calling it the "Bowtie" package, should produce some big plays this year.

They do have a wildcat package in the arsenal. It's certainly something we could see. We have several players that could run it effectively. Teague, Meline, Rogers, Stocker....

Dooley said he will try to implement some wildcat formations during the last week of spring practice, going into the Orange and White game.

I heard we may do it with Milton and Rogers and have Oku as the motion back

From what I understand Milton and Oku are the two getting the majority of the reps right now out of the Wildcat, Meline is also a possibility but is focusing on Special Teams.

But since we are not any kind of cat, we can't call it the wildcat.

How bout the wild-meth-crazed-hillbilly?
