How do you think the "road raiders" will do in Sonoma?

Alot of road course specialists will be racing this weekend, and it got me thinking, how do you think they will do? I would really like to see Jan Magnussen do well in the 09. Team Corvette is my all time favorite racing team and he is an awesome talent. Anyone else got a favorite or prediction?

I'm interested to see the debuts of the 09 and 83.
Boris is always over aggressive. Don't see any reason for things to change.
Ambrose seems the most likely of the guys to win.
PJ Jones can wheel a car, but he's a S&P for Robby Gordon.

The above listed are all part time drivers at most. Montoya, Stewart, both Gordons, and Kahne should be the toughest to beat of the full time guys.

My darkhorse pick is David Gilliand.

My favorite in the race is Ambrose I think he'll challenge for his first Sprint Cup victory.
Of the part timers I like Boris but I'm interested in watching Jan Magnussen & Ekstrom.

There are only four this year, used to be upwards of ten. Shows how much the regulars have improved as road racers.

Based on qualifying with Said the highest placed at 17th, I don't expect much. If Said can be patient, and the team make a well timed pit stop or two, he can be a contender. He has the ability to pass the field. Magnussen and Ekstrom will not be factors IMO. PJ Jones has never been a contender.

Of the regulars with road racing backgrounds, I give the best chance to Montoya, followed by Ambrose, R. Gordon, Allmendinger, Speed, and Papis. I predict the last three to all be involved in crashes.

I predict a regular without road racing background to win as usually happens. Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, & Kahne being good choices. Ky Busch, Ku Busch, Edwards, Martin, Newman and Truex are possibilities. Dark Horse is Menard.
