Couldn't agree more, he's the type of poster I’m referring to in this thread.

I just don’t see why anyone would be a “regular” on a rivals board.

I'm not sure where you got that quote from Volfan1 but that doesn't sound like something he would say.
Why would a rival say anything negative about his own team on a rival board anyways?
I have made a number of comments here, especially as it related to the Jimmy Johns fiasco. I also believe Vol posters here make a mountain out of a mole hill when it comes to some things related to BAMA. I'm fair minded.

The quote was made yesterday on a Bama board. I will not link it here. I will PM you the link. I find it strange that you like him but cannot find his post.

As a regular rival poster, I can tell you there's no rhyme or reason to it. I don't do it on any other boards. I just found this place (don't even remember how), posted a few times, got into some fun back and forths with people, had a few laughs.

Next thing I know I'm playing poker with Finevol and golf with hohenesvol and I've got over 10,000 posts in a few years.

I guess in the end its just fun. Great stress relief and it adds quite a bit to the build-up to big games each year. Part of being a fan. Its a privilege to post here and I am grateful for it.

People post on rival boards to antagonize. Occasionally there is a certain amount of affinity built towards some rivals posters, but even then most of the time they post with the singular goals to either agitate, be attention hos, or be annoying.
