I didn't hear his name called much, we will never know but with AJ there I don't think they would have scored 29, so in other word we probably would have won, but we will never know, some of them plays in the first half that just barley worked might not have worked if AJ would have been there, but AJ want be there next year so we are just getting a head start on the D with him gone anyway, in the second half the D played there azz off, MIZZ D LINE didn't get enough credit going in to the game as much as it should have, the difference in the game was there D LINE play.

IDK, I think it depends on whether the LB situation was forcing us to put more pressure on our safeties to run support. I thought Jakob played like a freshman. Coleman got beat consistently in coverage BUT perhaps that was because the safeties were coming up in run support more? If Coleman had consistent over the top help maybe, just maybe we win this game, no idea what was forcing us to put him in a position to lose the game for us?

In the first half he did the same thing and got away with it when they called MIZZ for offence interference, that was a bad call, you cant turn your back on the ball and lose sight of the ball.

He played like a frosh. He was a step or two behind on some plays and missed some tackles as well that AJ would have had. Overall, he played ok but AJ would have probably made some more plays for us. He's a big physical guy though and I think he will be a solid contributer next year.

I don't know anyone could have expected him to play a very good game. He is a rue freshman who has played just two years of organized football.

He's a freshman right? He was out of position often, couldn't get off of blocks, missed on a few tackles, and JRM spent alot of time getting the front lined up properly. Honestly, that's about what I expected but some might have had higher expectations.

He definitely looks the part though.

Yeah, he was hesitant and unsure, but you could see the speed and overall instinct is there. Just takes reps and experience to build the confidence in his reads...that'll lead to making plays. A lot of people forget how much difference a true feel and familiarity with a defensive system makes for a player. He'll get better, much better.

I think he didn't get off blocks well and missed a couple of screen plays. Stuff AJ would have handled. Score would have been much lower with AJ.

I don't think the score would have been much different with AJ. AJ doesn't keep Toast from getting burnt for 73 and almost again for another TD save a botched offensive PI call.

My opinion is he did Neutral. Not great. Not bad. I was really excited for him coming in the game Saturday. He maintained his position, didnt give up any huge plays, nor did he cause any big plays for defense. Neutral.

Im excited for this guy. Especially after high-fiving him at the Vol Walk. He was just as excited to be there as the fans were.

It looked like to me that he was the spy, tracking Mauk if he ran. He did a good job given that he is a true freshman and starting his first game. He'll get there. I was surprised that he played almost every snap on defense.
