I don't know how to feel this morning, it's game day. I'm like everyone else, frustrated at the season so far. I thought going into the year 8-4, now we need an upset to get there. I would gladly accept the losses this year if we could win the next 2. I hate Alabama, like no other, and now we have friends at church who are gamecocks. The thought of having to listen to bama and cock fans for the next year almost makes me sick to my stomach. This is the sec and anything can happen on any given Saturday, so I'm gonna say it, I think we roll the tide and this is the turning point of our season. I think this TEAM finally plays like one, for the first time in almost a decade. So GBO!!!!!

Indifferent! Hope for a win, expect a loss. Just hope we keep it close, and play well.

My advice is don't go to church. Instead, drink more on Saturday and sleep in on Sunday morning.

Like so many others I want to believe we can compete and beat the #$&% out of Bama but I just can't. At kickoff I will be wearing the Orange and cheering them on though just like always! Go VOLS! Beat Bama! :cheer: :bammer:

I am like a beaten dog with its tail between his legs. I have lost my passion and enthusiasm. Neyland Stadium is like a huge morgue now. The only excitement will be from the trash in maroon.

I'm excited! We get to play the #1 ranked team, it's gonna be a beautiful Fall day, and though we are having a rough season, our offense gives us a punchers chance!

I have hope and here is why: games between teams where one has everything to lose and the other has nothing to lose are dangerous.

Our defense has vastly underperformed. If we can step it up to just being mediocre there can be huge swings in our performance. That will be the key to this game. If the O goes out and plays loose, has fun and the line plays like they have been we can score, no doubt.

I feel schizophrenic. At times this week, the little voices in my head have said that we are going to get killed. The, other voices come in and say, "Bray & Co. are going to give Bama fits and our defense will finally show up."

I hope those last voices are the real ones :)

Well...I confused myself a bit. I normally wake up and take a Bama in the bathroom. Than I thought, if that's a Bama than I could say..Tennessee has played like Bama this season. So.....time to come up with new terms.

I am ready to watch us throw everything we have at those crapabammers and watch our defense finally step up.

About to leave to head to the game- still not sure why other than that slim chance that a miracle happens. Probably will not happen, but imagine the feeling if it did. All those bammers jumping off the bandwagon and jumping on Oregons

I feel the same. It's funny to think back to Atlanta and how I could hardly sleep the night before due to the excitement of that first game. It's pretty much been downhill ever since. God I'm so sick of losing!!!!

You gotta go Kentucky on 'Bama and give CP the ball 40 times....and let him run, run, run, and run some more. I don't care how you do it. Get the ball into that kids hands...period!

Same here.....likely a whole lot of us in this situation. Just don't quit and if there is a surprise at the end, I will come unglued.

I was totally pumped for UF, optimistic for UGA, cautiously confident for MSU and now... just hoping it's a good game and not another unprecedented record-setting beatdown. So much of the fun and excitement has been sucked out of the season. The team has a chance to bring it back. But will they?

As I have sat in my living room and see my vols play. I have learned through this season to expect to lose but hope for a win. I simply relate Dooley to the political situation right now. He's not getting it done, he has had his chances, get him out before he does more damage. (even tho Obama couldn't do much worse) I am a VFL, but we are better than this.
